Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I made a purchase on walmart.com. I utilized the site to store delivery option. I paid with my credit card. When my order arrived at the designated location, I was notified by email. I printed out the notification that was my proof of purchase and took it to the store.  I went to the back of the store where the site to store pickups are made. I presented the notification with the proof of payment and received my goods. I was also given an receipt, and the following threat, "make sure you show this at the door, or you're not going to be able to get out of the store!"  Wow, they were going to detain me if I didn't show them a receipt for paid for goods. What next, is Walmart going to start coming to customers houses to do random checks?

I didn't show them a receipt, and no one asked. But I will never go back there again.

Where's the Ripoff?

#2Consumer Suggestion

Let me see, Wal-mart delivered the merchandise to the store on-time and you picked it up in Site-to-Store without hassle.

Now you have to walk back through the whole store to exit. May I ask you how Wal-mart knows, upon exit, that you just didn't pick up ANY box in the Site-to-Store area? So a friendly receipt checker kindly asks you, to kindly just show you receipt - a process which takes all of five seconds - and this is a ripoff?

When you post something such as this incident, you open yourself up to ridicule as in the other posts. It comes with the territory.

Check out the Jack the Painter thread too. This jerk thinks he is somebody, but yet shops at Wal-Mart! He referred to Jack the Painter as "the laborer", like it is below him.

Remember, he threw this guy out of his house without paying him for the painting work done just because Jack used his toilet. This freak said he would have to now replace the toilets bacuse the "laborer" might have usedone or moreto take a crap!

This guy has the standard "Scottsdale Syndrome".

Insulted you?

#5General Comment

Tue, December 21, 2010

Simply by asking questions and trying to explain what happenedI insulted you? Well, geeze I didn't know you had such a soft constitution that you couldn't take a differing viewpoint. And yet you respond by calling names and attempting to insult people. However, just as your complaint in the OP, your posts were baseless.I'd have to say that since you didn't realize the employee was tryin to help you out that you're the one that doesn't know what they're talking about and shouldn't post until they do. But that's okay. I know that if the OP and some posters can't post a good response to the message that they will attack the messanger. Basically shows you have a very flimsy argument for your side of the debate and you know it.

But one final question for you. Is it true that the H in your last name stands for hemmorrhoid? It seems you're trying to be a pain in the butt.

Where is the ripoff... This is a joke, right?

I am not a huge Walmart fan; however, I don't see the ripoff. That is standard procedure you went through. Why is it so hard to show a receipt. If you went through checkout at the front, you would be subject to the same procedure.

Just show the receipt as you are walking - no time is wasted.

I think this posting is just wrong on so many levels. You have serious issues. Please get help before you hurt yourself, or someone else. Seriously. You need help.

Cruising Wal-Mart in a Rolls Royce?

If the OP really lives in Scottsdale, he would not be shopping at Wal-Mart. Unless, of course, he is a live-in servant.

Pie charts and bar graphs, oh my!

In response to the OP, I'm merely pointing out an inconsistency. After all, if this non-incident has you that worked up, and you're posting to warn others about this egregious "ripoff," then it would be helpful to others to ascertain what side of the country you are on.

So, how were you ripped-off, again? You ordered merchandise, picked up said merchandise, and left with said merchandise.

Well, amongst other things. Are you in Vermont or Arizona? Beyond that, I don't have anything additional to add. I think the other posters have already showed enough disdain and contempt towards this ridiculous "ripoff."

Sorry, in spite of your childish and disgusting tantrum, the fact remains that nothing happened and you are whining for nothing.

I'm positive they won't miss you.  Unfortunately, someone else will get you as a customer.

Maybe you should pry yourself from your computer, take off your Depends and go find some type of real job. As a taxpaying citizen, I resent having to pay taxes so some d****ebag like you can sit in their own crap and piss and pontificate and moralize over topics you know nothing about.

Which is everything.

d****ebag.

Basically they were trying to help you. If you approached the door without going through the checkout lanes the greeter would be right in stopping you to determine if you had paid for the merchandise. Their heads up that you might have to show the receipt was so you didn't put the reciept in your wallet or purse and then have to dig for it. Amazing that since they try to help you say you won't go there any more. I bet you'll be back inside a week.

Are you this overly dramatic about everything? That wasn't a threat.

Let's recap. You ordered something. They gave you the item you ordered. You walked out of the store without incident.

Where is the ripoff?

When do we get to the part where you were ripped off?

If the extent of your complaint is that someone told you that you might have to show your receipt at the door, then I think you've got way too much time on your hands.
