Walmart ripoff still using illegal immigrant contractors Unfair tactics by a gestapo-like organization. Hartselle Alabama
Walmart was busted for using illegal immigrants to clean the floors and work on their stores, but last night the Hartselle AL walmart had a whole painting crew of illegals working. No, I didn't check their green cards or lack thereof, that would have been impractical, but not a one of them spoke english, as most people legally in this country can. I tried and got the ubiquitous "no habla".
A word about the "greeters" - entering the store, it's fine to be greeted by some older or disabled person, even though it's an obvious ploy to obtain public sympathy for their family oriented advertising.
Leaving the store, it's a different matter, especially when they ask for a reciept for your purchases. It's a lot harder for most people to tell an old lady to "get out of my way, I'm leaving" than it would be a younger man.
Unfair tactics by a gestapo-like organization. I've never worked for walmart, but EVERYONE who I know that has reports it's rife with backstabbing politics at every level and the managers are under so much pressure they become satanic even if they weren't when they started - or they lose their job.
