Hopefully, you have reached an understanding regarding your failed attempt to return the ammo to the store. If by now you still do not know why this fails to qualify as a legitimate ripoff report, I'm afraid I can not help you.
Well, there is one thing I can do. Having read the report and subsequent comments, I am convinced of the truth behind the saying that all things are bigger in Texas. Realizing that big dummies seem to growing into much bigger dummies, I'm going to write a self-help novel for the intellectually challenged to help resolve such complaints as yours before they should arise. I think I'll call it, "the complete idiots guide to becoming a bigger dumba$$."
All ammo sales are final. It's not a law; at least, not one that I could find. However, if it is clearly posted at the retailer's establishment, you buy with that understanding and agreement. In your defense, I must add though, nothing you said should have explicitly implied to anyone with any real intelligence that you had attempted to re-load or re-fire any round in a second rifle. The two comments that were first posted in response to your complaint were obviously drafted by other big dummies, whose reading comprehension is as bad as their spelling.)

I know that here in Wisconsin it is a state law that all ammo sales are finnal. We can not refund or exchange any type of ammo. I agree with the other postings that you should contact the manufactur of the ammo. I am pretty sure that they would send you some sort of coupon for a new box. Also trying to refire some misfired ammo sounds really dangerous. Be safe.

The past writing is current. This is walmart's policy and I can see why. I have seen some people bring in different ammo is a different box after they had shot a few. The best bet is to go to the manufactor and let them know.
