Warrantech Home Service Company ripoff fraud home warranty scam Bedford Texas
I am a real estate agent in the state of Texas. I was approached by a sales rep from Warrantech Home Warranty and was convinced to go with their home warranty product for my clients. They have a program where they pay the real estate agents a kick back for selling a home warranty to the home sellers. I had several of my clients buy their warranties.
I was shocked to find out after many issues with the company, that they are not even licensed to do business in the state of Texas. They do not pay what they promise to the real estate agents, they do not send out the home owners policies and after speaking with several other agents, I have found out they dont even pay on their claims (if you were lucky enought to have received a policy from them.
I am embarrassed to admit that I ever fell for their scam but you live and learn. At this point I am in the process of turning them in to the Better Business Bureau and if any of you out there run into the same problem, you should do the same.
