I have a couple of questions regarding your complaint; What year is your automobile? Did you get bids from any other repair facility? Your dealership may have been overcharging because you had a warranty. Warranty companies do not intentionally not pay claims. It is very interesting how everyone believes the warranty companies are scamming; nobody wants to believe their repair shop may be overcharging. The service departments at dealerships make a large portion of profits for the company. With car sales down, a lot of these dealers are charging more for repairs. It is not the warranty company's responsibility to pay for charges in excess. It is important to know the year of the car as well, because used parts may have made the repair more affordable. Insurance companies make the same decisions when it comes to collision repairs. I don't hear anyone saying they're not doing the right thing. If you had to pay for the repair, would you rather pay 3X's more for the same repair or get after market parts that work the same and save hundreds of dollars? It's comical how everyone wants someone else to pay money for repairs or bills they would never pay themselves. Or might I ask, if you had to pay the bill yourself, would you even fix the motors or go with out rolling the windows down?
