Hi. I am writing to report the total scam that I was involved in with the company calling themsleves Warranty Solutions.

I purchased this warranty for $1800.00 from the dealership when I bought my used 2005 f-150 pickup. When I bought the vehicle it had aproximately 42,000 miles on it. I have owned the vehicle for almost 3 years now and have put about 56,000 miles on it. I have never had to contact the warranty company as the vehicle hasn't had a problem until last weekend when the oil pump went out and fried the engine.

I contacted the company at the 800 number listed and had my vehicle towed to the local dealership. I called the warranty company and was informed that I needed to gather my vehicle maintanance records because the delership found that the motor was fried due to the defective oil pump.

I then recieved a notice from the mechanic that the warranty company had sent an "adjuster" to look at my engine and reported that they would not honor the warranty because of "sludge" build up inside of the engine. I have all of my maintanace records to prove that I held up my end of the contract by keeping the oil changed at least every 4000 miles.

After contacting the warranty company and having a long and disgusting conversation where they basically told me that the "independant" adjuster had reported the sludge build up and they were denying my warranty because of his findings. I never met this so called 'independant" adjuster, nor was I informed that he would make the determination of whether the warranty would be honored.

Both of the representatives that I spoke with on the phone, Bill and Levi, were not helpful at all and could care less if I had proof of maintanance records or not. The only thing they kept repeating was that the claim was denied due to the findings of the "adjuster".

I was never given a copy of the full contract to read, but they were more than willing to quote the context of the contract even though I never signed or recieved a copy of the document. There was or is no indication that I should have requested a copy of the contract and for all that I know, there is not written contract.

I feel the this company is a total rip off. They were more than happy to take my money for the contract and as long as they never heard from me they were happy. I  feel they never planned on paying for anything. They used thier loopholes that were never provided to me to deny my claim and were never going to honor the contract. This kind of company are the ones that make it impossible for a honorable company to have the opportunity to offer people ligitimate contracts. I would never trust another automobile warranty as this bogus company has ruined any confidence that I had in automobile warranties.

I will be in contact with them again and I will contact a reputable lawyer in my area to go after this so called warranty company. I will also report this to the better business beaurau so that they can investigate this scam of a company.

unfortunately, in the meantime I will have to have my vehicle repaired so that I can use it. After dealing with thier so called customer service today, I can see that they will drag this out as long as they can in hopes that I will just give up. This type of company is the bottom of the barrel scum licking trash that give all American businesses a bad name. I am ashamed that I was fooled into thinking that this warranty company was ever going to do what they know is the right thing.
