They traded me a Limited Edition OMEGA Seamaster 300m SPECTRE 007 (value $10k) for my Vintage Omega 300 (circa 1968)Value $15-17k.I understand they are in busisnee tomake a profit I AGREED TO THE TRADE. THEN THINGS WENT VERY WRONG. Their DISPATCH DEPT Botched up the CUSTOMS forms . I caught it and quicly asked it be corrected . Because the forms were so slooply filled out i express a concern that another person PACKAGE MY WATCH. They assured me twice it was packed properly.
FedEx delived the package on Jan 2 2018 ,the outer box has the corner broken open. Upon opening the package I was HEARTBROKEN to find the Beautiful Presentaion case DESTROYED. There were only 7007 of these Limited Editions made and the case CAN NOT BE REPLACED.The packaging was a USED BOX that look like they got it out of a DUMPSTER. NO PADDING JUST DUMPED IN THE BOX AND TAPED UP . WITH LOTS AND LOTS of FRAGILE TAPE??
I agreed to the TRADE in the first place because I felt the limited Edition would gain value over the years. BUT NOW NO COLLECTOER WOULD BUY IT WITH OUT THE CASE. Making the value of the watch as a colletable half of the watch I trade it for.
The company has refused to answer my emails! to make it worse they only INSURED IT FOT $1,000 USD?? But declared it value at 7,050 Pounds.
This watch is still under Omega warranty for 2 more years, for them to ship a WARRENTED OMEGA product tome in Sub Standard packaging is OUTRAGOUS!
Watchfinders MATT BOWLING will not answer my Emails> Customer service at Watchfinder ENDS ONCE THEY ARE PAID!
