Waterhouse Securities Inc Shopper Sweepstakes Scam Morristown Ontario
We received a letter from Waterhouse Securities stating we won 250,000 in the Shopper Sweepstakes and a check was enclosed for $4980.00 on a Wells Fargo check drawn on an OHIO bank. All we needed to do was deposit the check immediately and send a money gram for US taxes due on the winnings of $2995.00 to them immediately
Now think about this do you really think 2995.00 is all the taxes you will pay on a winnings of 250,000?
Just to confirm this we called the bank and there was no such account and the check was a fraud. I then started to look her on RipOff Report and found several others received the same scam.
Please be careful and as one other report stated. If it is to good to be true then it probably is.

Someone in one of the previous reports asked what can you do about the fraud. Take it to your local post office and ask to speak with the Postmaster or Postal inspector. This is also mail fraud and they will investigate and hopefully shut them down before too many people are scammed
