Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The Waurika Public Works Authority obviously don't care about it's citizens or they would be asking whether or not they approve of cell towers and cell sites being built and erected all over Waurika! The Waurika Public Works Authority seems to take a "we do as we please" stance when carrying out projects! Since 2003 a cell phone tower has been built at almost every mile marker in Waurika and all over Jefferson County! Now they're advertising for workers experienced in using MICROWAVES?? Why the hell would they advertise for something like that? Why are they using microwaves in the first place? To kill people they don't like?? Do they know the effects of radiation from cell phone towers? I guess that explains why so many people all over Waurika are getting sick and dying. Who are they microwaving? Falsely accused sex offenders? It seems Waurika has a lot of them too on just about every block!! The cops in Waurika seem to enjoy throwing people in jail and damaging their repuatations for life by calling them a "sex offender". One of the all time favorite words of one of the police officers there when used to describe someone they don't like!! So I guess they're using cell phone towers to cook the insides of their citizens they think are undesirables. Nice!! I wonder what other brilliant ideas they'll come up with next!!

Seriously people we need to not be afraid "to take a stand!" as Eminem says! "I'm not afraid to take a stand!" Stand up and demand answers as to why Waurika is allowing cell phone towers to built at almost every mile marker!! It doesn't take that many cell phone towers for cell phones to get clear reception!! We cannot let the Waurika Public Works Authority to get away with this!!

"Ted Twietmeyer has a pretty good article on Rense.com"

This loon is a radical claiming almost anything done in the country has a sinister reason for happening...oh yeah and also on Mars.

He's a self promoter and appears to be just another "Fox TV" type "fact" spouter.

Is he, perhaps, also from Waurika? :)

which you cited is one of several paragraphs explaining why cell towers are highly UNlikely to cause cancer or any DNA changes.

"Do cellular phone towers cause cancer?
Some people have expressed concern that living, working, or going to school near a cell phone tower might increase the risk of cancer or other health problems. At this time, there is very little evidence to support this idea. In theory, there are some important points that would argue against cellular phone towers being able to cause cancer.
First, the energy level of radiofrequency (RF) waves is relatively low, especially when compared with the types of radiation that are known to increase cancer risk, such as gamma rays, x-rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light. The energy of RF waves given off by cell phone towers is not enough to break chemical bonds in DNA molecules, which is how these stronger forms of radiation may lead to cancer.
A second issue has to do with wavelength. RF waves have long wavelengths, which can only be concentrated to about an inch or two in size. This makes it unlikely that the energy from RF waves could be concentrated enough to affect individual cells in the body.
Third, even if RF waves were somehow able to affect cells in the body at higher doses, the level of RF waves present at ground level is very low -- well below the recommended limits. Levels of energy from RF waves near cell phone towers are not significantly different than the background levels of RF radiation in urban areas from other sources, such as radio and television broadcast stations.
For these reasons, most scientists agree that cell phone antennas or towers are unlikely to cause cancer."
I still think you're a nut case, but hey, at least you responded here.

To be truthful, public works projects of just about any size, scope, or breadth undergoes many public safety reviews before anything is constructed.  Once they obtain all of the approvals, they can do just about anything they please, provided the activity is within the scope of the law.  The other thing to consider is when one of these are built, they sometimes are not built on public lands; in other words, someone has provided proof a cell phone tower is required, and the city builds it on someone's land, and the landowner receives rent from having the tower on their land.

Insofar as side effects associated with cell phone towers, there is no scientific proof whatsoever that there are side effects associated with the building of cell phone towers, or microwaves for that matter, or any correlation between the towers, and increased cancer rates.  Citing a couple of sources off the internet you say....?  Really?  You know the internet is not exactly a great source of credibility.  If you really don't understand why, type in any review on ROR from Karl in Highlands Ranch, and you'll find one conspiracy theory after another, and all his sources come from the dubious sources on the internet, and that's the kindest word I can use to describe them.  Never mind his poetry.... if you can.

If you really want to make a difference, there are always be public hearings and input on projects such as this.  It may be way past the point where public input is allowed; these things generally were done years ago, as you already cited, and if your evidence of harm were valid, it would have been considered before a single tower was built.  I don't think there's a ripoff, but a cell phone tower isn't a scenic view either, so....?

Don't complain about nonsense unless you happen to be with the FCC. They told us we needed to build them! Besides so what if we are using them to cause pain or sickness to the sex offenders sex predators and perverts. waurika is better off without them!

I'll see your article and raise you one more.  You mentioned cancer.org.  Well I am glad you did because here is what they say about Cell Phone Towers.  Here is an except, but you can read the entire article if you want.

Do cellular phone towers cause cancer?

Some people have expressed concern that living, working, or going to
school near a cell phone tower might increase the risk of cancer or
other health problems. At this time, there is very little evidence to
support this idea. In theory, there are some important points that would

....
For these reasons, most scientists agree that cell phone antennas or towers are unlikely to cause cancer.

-----------------------------------------

But let's say for arguments sake you are correct.  If so Waurika must be the Cell Phone capital of the world to have Cell Phone towers at every mile marker and the Sex Offender Capital of the world with Sex Offenders just about every block.

So I think it is safe to say you have a few more"issues" than Cell Towers.  But if your conspiracy theory is right and they are just putting these towers up to "cook" Sex Offenders.  Well all I can say is go for it Waurika, and if it works perhaps you should talk to other cities about expanding the program.

Anyways I need to get back to my bunker before the Black Helicopters come and get me.

Okay so you'd like some facts to back up my complaint.

Let's see hmm I've got plenty.

Here is a listing of websites and articles that clearly illustrate the dangers of cell towers and cell sites.

Ted Twietmeyer has a pretty good article on Rense.com

www.Cancer.org has a good article about the effects of radiation from cell towers

The Health effects from cell phone tower radiation by Karen S. Rogers

Electricsense.com

www.articlebase.com/cell-phones

http://www.emf-health.com/articles

http://www.babyzone.com/pregnancy

That's just a few. If you'd like more let me know.

"Since 2003 a cell phone tower has been built at almost every mile marker in Waurika and all over Jefferson County"
Is Waurika and Jefferson County an all high mountain area?  That would be about the only reason to erect cell towers every mile.
"It seems Waurika has a lot of them too on just about every block!!"
Equally absurd, but which is it, every mile marker or every block?

"Now they're advertising for workers experienced in using MICROWAVES?? Why the hell would they advertise for something like that? Why are they using microwaves in the first place? To kill people they don't like?? "
One other reason they might be using "microwaves" is that's what's assigned by the FCC for cell phone frequencies.  They CANNOT pick and choose their own frequencies.

"Do they know the effects of radiation from cell phone towers? I guess that explains why so many people all over Waurika are getting sick and dying"
What scientific research have YOU done to make this unsubstantiated statement....facts, please.

Then, your post simply deteriorates into a lunatic rant about conspiracies EVERYWHERE.
Like a previous poster noted, keep your tinfoil hat on, it may just save your life....pass the word to your friends...if any.

Gotta love the rampant conspiracy theorists, very entertaining reading.

I'm glad I bught a tin foil hat recently. I bet you believe in climate change, too. I assume you don't own a cell phone and drive your car on fairey dust(mustn't use that dirty oil, you know).
