I hired WME to do SEO on my website. The first stepas to provide me with a list of keywords that they were going to target. About half of the keywords had zero searches, meaning no one was searching for these terms. Yet their so called expert research and "considerable resources" determined these were good to target. I know enough about SEO to know that targeting these types of keywords is useless to your traffic and the only reason they would target them is because they are easy to rank for and an unknowing client would think they are doing a great job. On seeing this keyword list (one week in) I was shocked and told them I didn't trust them to do my SEO and wanted to cancel their service. I was told I was locked into a contract for 12 months and couldn't cancel. After a lot of back and forth and them asking for a second chance to prove they are "experts" I agreed to a 3 month contract. As a part of their terms they are supposed to have 30% of the keywords on the first page of Google by 3 months or they work free of charge until the target is met. We agreed on a new keyword list as well that I researched myself. 3 months later NONE of my 40 keywords were on the first page and 80% of them were not even in the top 100. I used a back link checker tool to find they had built no back links either.
On top of that I found that they had put a link at the bottom of my homepage linking to a page they had created on my site titled 'resources' that they had put links to a number of their other clients websites on. Dodgy dodgy dodgy. I didn't trust them to continue even though it was free from then so I cancelled immediately and demanded a refund which of course I never got. Never use this company. Unless you want to rank for keywords that no one is searching for. They will create a resources page on your website and link to all of their other clients. This is the only way they know how to build backlinks and these types of links are worthless at best. Absolute con artists and definitely not experts.

Over 12 months ago our company signed up on a contract and spent over 20k for SEO along. To this day our website only receives 30 visitors a day. So basically I'm paying 1.80 per customer that visis my site. These guys have basically ripped me off 20k and my site has only made 5 sales of 39 dollars for the year.
I'd recommend going overseas and using an Indian SEO company as they're much cheaper. I've recently just started using a company in India and After only spending $300 I'm already getting 150 visitors a day. Things are looking good without that rip off company. STAY RIGHT AWAY!!!!

Hey i was wdering how you got out f the plan of 12 months i keep asking them is can leave but their telling me that if i dont stay i will need to pay the remaining in full. these guys did the same thing to me as in the start i knew little about seo and went with their so called expert suggested keyowrords and no wi understand how they achieved page one ranking so quick; NO ONE searches for these suggested keywords! when i asked them why my website isnt converting sales they simply told me: well what do you want us to do ? we got you to page one on ____ this keyword!.
how do i get out of this plan as these guys are clearly not who they clain they are!
