I am used to paying my Wells Fargo credit card on the 16th of each month. In April, they caught me by surprise, by scheduling it on the 14th. My mistake. though an honest one. I paid it on the 16th, and incurred a late fee.I have excellent credit, and have been a customer for several years.

I called the customer service, and discussed this with her; she told me she would waive the late fee, and for me to deduct it from my minimum payment on the next month's bill.I did just that: deducted the 39.00 from the minimum payment, and went in the branch on the next due date and paid the remaining minimum payment.

Today, 5 days later, I attempted to use my Wells Fargo card, and it was declined. This is the first time in my life that this has happened to me and it was embarrassing to me as someone who works hard and plays by the rules.

I called Wells Fargo and talked to three different people, who basically told me they were 'sorry' I had been given the 'incorrect' information. But that I would not only have to pay the 39.00 'waived' fee, but that in addition, I would be charged another late fee next month for not paying the 'waived' late fee this month.

I consider this Fraudulent Behavior.

I am filing a fraud claim with Wells Fargo, and will contact as many consumer organizations as I can to talk about these policies.

I am organizing a boycott of Wells Fargo, as I think this is the best way to get citizens' messages across. Wells Fargo has extensive literature on their site about integrity and values. For me, integrity and values mean something different.

I am suggesting picketing branches nationwide in a coordinated effort. Please send me an email if you are working on these issues or similarly related, and are interested in direct action. As you know, the "Executive Offices" don't display their phone numbers.They don't want to be contacted directly evidently. Thanks for your time in reading this.

simply sat outside many of the banks, like- Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citigroup, & others, with signs that simply said the following- 'Google' this- INSIDE THE MELTDOWN, and watch it on the web! 'Google' this- THE OBAMA DECEPTION, and watch it on the web! 'Google' this- AMERICA: FREEDOM TO FASCISM, and watch it on the web! That would be pretty POWERFUL, wouldn't you agree? POWER TO THE PEOPLE

A fee credit goes to the balance on the account. Not off the next payment that is due. This is your fault for not paying on time then subtracting the fee off the next payment that was due.
