One similarity I notice in all these complaints is that the mortgage company asks for the money and you don't have it. I can see not sending a payment if told thats the right thing to do. However I highly doubt the companies tell you to spend the money on other things. Also if the process the first time around was so disoriented, wouldn't you think it would be a good idea to keep sending payment or atleast put the money away, just in case? ...and if you aren't sending payment because you don't have the funds to do so, wouldnt they be correct in stating that you cannot afford the home? I know its a rough thing to deal with, but I can't help but notice practically every person that posts these complaints take no person responsibility for the situation.
