I have a car loan with above stated financial company. In September of 2002, my 1997 Hyundai Sonata did not pass inspection. I tried to trade it in and this office refused the loan. The car dealer would take the negative equity and gave me a 2002 Malibu. I never missed a payment on this loan.

So, in the meantime, no transportation, because I couldn't renew my tags. I kepted paying on a car that did not run....please keep this in mind. In June, I cancelled a payment because I made a math mistake in my checking account. The Manager of Wells Fargo, Jerome came to collect the payment.

I informed him of the car status. He said he would work on it, never came back and never worked on it. Then he send a new guy named, Ken Manous and I told him the whole scenario, including how your office refused the new car loan. He said he would research it and get back with me. By this time my car was back were I orginally bought it at Southtowne Hyundai in Riverdale. I the car repairs totaled $750 and my friends who said they would help me pay for the repairs, changed their minds and backed out. So now I was stuck with an outrageous car repair bill and an outstanding loan agreement.

Ken Manous then came back a week later and said that he got the car dealer to drop the storage fees (car was sitting there for 4 months) and lower the bill to $600. He said that he would add in the car bill on the current loan with an outstanding balance of $1500. He said he call within a week. Never called. When I did get of old of him, two weeks went by. Now in the meantime, he told me I didn't have to pay any more payments because he was working out a deal for me. Now I was two months behind in car payments.

I finally got old of Ken Manous and he said that the car loan was disapproved and that I needed a co-signer. When he told me this, he brought the asst. manager and he threated me. They came to my house. I told them to take the car back. They refused. He said that they would help me if I would call their insurance company and put a claim in and that would cover the repairs and half of the remaining car loan and I could get my car back. So I called their insurance company, they added a $3500 car insurance bill on to my present loan. So now the loan about was close to $4,000.

I still don't have this resolved. They sent me a letter from the Kansas City, Missouri office requesting $2000 in back payments and they decided to drop the $3500 insurance fee. Now mind you the car has been off the road 1 year and 4 months. Were the car is, I don't know. Why they won't resolve this, still don't know. But I don't understand is why do I need a co-signer on a loan that I all ready had under my name without a cosigner. Wells Fargo is a rip off!!!!
