Its okay for them to lie to the consumer multiple times right. But as their customer you better not fudge once. Maybe thats why they have so many reports on here.

You were late on your payment and made arrangements to make a parital payment before the due date, and the remainder after. If you do not make the full required payment by the due date that does not take away the fact that you were late and are going to get charged a late fee.
As for getting it back. Most credit card companies will waive an occasional late fee, but it also depends on your history with them. Since you said they increased your interest rate 3 times, we can guess that the reason was because of previous delinquencies. Which would often keep them from waiving any more fees. With how this report was written it is possible that there was some language barrier or you are hearing what you want to hear and not what they are actually saying.
