There was an issue with my credit card account, I made a payment of my credit card on the last day of payment before going Late, so I arrange with the supervisor of the collection account by phone that he was going to remove that late fee since there were going to be 2 paymtns, one on the last day 180$ and the next week the remaining payment of that month of April 2011. So, next week I was charged the remaining 157$ but after few days, I was charged 34$ late fee. I called back and they told me they were going to remove it from my account in few days, but that did not happen, so today I called again and I talked to a Wells Fargo representative Christian, from Iowa, after explaining him everything he told me there was no refund of that late fee, but I asked why many times and then he told me: 'you are not going to be right', even listening to what have happened to the previous calls. I talked after that with Jessica ID 2717, she could not help me out although he told me the Collections Department have promised that, not WellsFargo. So this is another lie, it was not the only one that I received by phone, but there were another 2 times that Wellsfargo lie to my by phone, and also they increased 3 times the interest during the year without noticing me. Many lies, I am not satisfied, hopefully I will pay soon this account and get out of this Bank.

Its okay for them to lie to the consumer multiple times right.  But as their customer you better not fudge once. Maybe thats why they have so many reports on here.

You were late on your payment and made arrangements to make a parital payment before the due date, and the remainder after.  If you do not make the full required payment by the due date that does not take away the fact that you were late and are going to get charged a late fee.

As for getting it back.  Most credit card companies will waive an occasional late fee, but it also depends on your history with them.  Since you said they increased your interest rate 3 times, we can guess that the reason was because of previous delinquencies.  Which would often keep them from waiving any more fees.  With how this report was written it is possible that there was some language barrier or you are hearing what you want to hear and not what they are actually saying.
