Complaint Review: West Lo-Hi - Denver Colorado

Okay this will be the second time i have had to write this. I will give you insight into the worst company and property manager i have ever had to deal with.

     So i needed to be closer to downtown for work as well as college. I found an add in craigslist for a property on w lousiana st and federal BLVD...when i got to the property i was told that the apartment was no longer open. A couple of weeks later the add posted again so i went to talk to the manager once again a Mrs. Lori Rey.

      At the time i was living in a nice community surrounded by people of morals and character.
Lori Told me that i could rent a place at 2701 Federal BLVD and in one month i could move to the high rise that i originally wanted. So after i passed the first red flag i got from this lady which was that she took first months deposit and rent in the form of cash then proceeded to give me a paper receipt with no request of signature. " strange but okay".

      So after i moved in i was told that i had two weeks to come up with yet another months rent. I explained that i did not understand this but i then explained that i would not be able to do this in two weeks. Well i did end up doing it but in three weeks instead as well as all the late charges. Lori Rey. On sight property manager broke more laws than i care to name but i was told because she funneled money to her than this made all okay. when i asked when i would be able to move out of this bed bug infested hell hole to the original property that she promised me she made up some sort of excuse every time.

      luckily i sprayed my apartment my self and never had to deal with bed bugs in my apartment, although walking in the halls guaranteed your legs to be bitten up that is if the crack heads did not rob you first. but that in its self is another story. All of my suits and clothing was stole by one of the many chemical gurus of the slum.

     The said thing about this all is the drug users have ten times more morals that the manager who makes sure she gets a profit off the sales. she always shows up after 9pm and for the longest time i never understood why, that is until i witnessed why. Now i will not go into that because i do not want to veer off topic. I also never understood why she insisted that i use the drop box and the one time i decided to do so because i worked such long hours. the following night i found a man with a coat hanger in the drop box. Lori Explained that it was impossible for any one to get the letters. But they did.. now when i gave her the money order receipts to prove that i did in fact dropped them in the box. she took off never returning the receipts and instead proceeded with an eviction order..

      Now any one with reason i will give you a challenge. Go to this property walk all three floors and see if you can figure out why i am the first one to ever make a complaint on the ill moral actions of this company and its manager LORI REY. and if you are breathing and your brain works you will find out that it is because you are in a place where every one who has been their is very aware of the consequences of challenging  Lori and her illegal  affiliations. Me on the other hand dont give two shits about that and only wants his money back.

      The stove never worked the entire time i was their.. the security i was promised in the contract was destroyed before i moved in. i had a 3 inch gap at the bottom of my door. overdosed people and drunks out cold in front of my door is often what i woke to if i were lucky enough to get the privilege of sleeping with the paper thin walls that made sure you heard every fight over crack that the neighbors had. doing your laundry at the location was never in the fort cast because some one was always passed out drunk in it, Shooting up in it, Or just filling them self with some good old fashioned crack.

      Every now and then Lori would get a little pressure from her superiors i assume and would come and pick on the most exspendible one she could find yet never address the one causinng the hell that became that building because those people were infact paying her. But that is just my educated assumstion so i will make sure that is known. I constantly asked to talk to her supiriours and she would just hang up in my face and never answer my calls. i would take a day off work to talk to her superiors and never got the privilege of even knowing the location of their office in the louisiana building.

     Stay away from this company because it is the actions that you only think exists in the movies.
My girl friend at the time was attacked and almost rapped IN MY APARTMENT while i was at work because of the lack of the promised security. I will include pictures of all of this and have held back alot of info that i have collected that she was not aware i was collecting..and i will add more on this report as well as the BBB report and the ATG report till i am refunded all the money i gave her as well as the money for the doctor bill i have for the bed bug treatment for my nephew who it turns out is allergic to them..""""oh and i do have the paper work as well as the documents from the ambulance that came and picked him up from the apartment"...the bugs would still come into your apartment from under the door with the huge gap. so some times you would still have strays come in your place. and i don't want just the money that you claim i gave you but the cash money and money orders that you did not report..my money back and this mark cleared...pretty simple..

Oh i must add as well the heat never worked.. i had to install a shower because the one in the place spit three drops of cold water on you.. I was not able to take a warm shower for the first two weeks i was their.. the sink and the cabinet was also installed by me.. the windows did not lock or seal. the cabinet did not close and i did not get blinds for the entire time i was living at this lactation and ended up putting them up my self... The repair man is awesome and prob the only honest person at this company but he never got the request i sent to lori.

MY money and the mark removed...PERIOD... I also have some pictures of some things that i dont think you want to come to light.... this company and or the manager is very corrupt ..

people will offer you stuff for 24 hours straight.. and if you have to study as i do you will not get any done at this location
if you work alot as i do..you will not get sleep to be effective at this location. and LORI REY is a slum lord who obviously has her superiors COMPLETELY fooled..

I will continue to keep adding to this report because i have left out ALOT in hopes i do not have to take this any further and get my MONEY BACK..My money i lost due to common living needs that where never provided as promised as well as the fact she lied COMPLETELY to every one and still is.

PS i was told by her in a round about way that because i did not join the program it was all my fault and i did it to my self.. I smiled because i knew what i was doing next.. and let her enjoy the laugh she delivered to my face at 10 pm or so when she came over in all black to taunt me.. any way i hope you enjoyed that Oh..and Check Mate.

Oh and before i forget...I NEVER got a mail key the entire time i was living at this location..My mail box was always open though when i got home.. My checks got stolen out of my mail as well as my bank cards.. I have reports to back this up as well.. check got written all over town.

after Lori Made it clear that she lied to me..I Took Over 400 Picture of this place...I will post a few and come back and post more every week....
