I had never received a notice of termination or bill. I got a call from my son while I was at the hospital that our power was off. Upon arriving home and seeing it was off, I called. The customer service reps said they had sent a bill and notice but did not and would not state a date. I was told I would have to pay their fees and amount due - I've no issues paying bills I owe but I want to pay what I owe for actual use and not what they're guessing the costs are. I am now desperately trying to borrow the amount of money they want - I have several co-occurring neurological conditions that are worsened by stress and heat, and PA summers can be brutal. My advice is DON'T count on West Penn Power to state actual use amounts or work with you if you have any serious illnesses.
