Western By Design 1880 Western Wear Nonpayment of Refund after repeated requests for items ordered and found unacceptable on delivery Internet, Internet
I purchased a western raincoat in mid November 2010. I received it December 23rd to be given as a Christmas gift. The raincoat was very large for the size ordered, but the label to indicate size had been removed so I didn't really know what size it was. Western by design and returned the raincoat. I received a replacement one size smaller which was too small and the zipper was defective. I returned this raincoat as directed with a request of a refund of my money. I have since contacted Western By Design multiple times by telephone and by e-mail. Telephone calls most often are greeted by an answering machine and on only one occassion was returned. E-mail is also ignored. On the two times I have spoken with Gwen Hansen, I was told that my refund was in the mail. Not so!!! I have been patient and courteous, but I know I have been ripped off!
