Western Digital - Office MAX 7200 RPM 160GB Hard Drive $50 Rebate Ripoff Miami Florida
Sent in all correct paperwork for a $50 rebate. I am staring at copies of all paperwork now.
Received a postcard stating:
"Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): 7200 RPM 160GP Hard Drive - You did not provide us with the correct Capacity Label that is required for this rebate."
Also, under promotion they list $30 rebate CompUSA, but the rebate I sent in was for a $50 rebate at OfficeMax.
The original offer says nothing about a "capacity label"; furthermore, the UPC clearly lists the model number of the drive, and part of the UPC number is the drive capacity!
This is an obvious scam.
