I enrolled to what I was told was Western International University and that allcredits were fully transferrable.  I agreed to thisafter researching since I knew at that time I was moving out of state and would likely only complete one year with that schoolonline before going to a local universtiy.  I had some major life situations prevent me from returning to school as quickly as I would have liked.  However, I am currently in the process of getting back to school and when I tried to obtain transcripts, I was first told that they had no records on me of ever attending the school.  I had taken out student loans so I called the company that I am paying to find out who the loans were paid to and was told that all fees were paid to Western International.  I called their student admissions office again and at that time was told that they located my records but that I had attended the technical school, Axia, and that my credits would not transfer.  I asked about the costs for Axia and according to the math and the amount of student loans that were paid out, I have over paid for all of my credits.  Not only that but I was told that I had an outstanding balance on my account so my transcripts would not be released to another school.  When I asked about the balance I was told that they did not have that information and I would have to contact the collection agency that it had been sent to.

Due to the hold up trying to get everything obtained since they originally "had no record of me attending school', I am not going to be able to start school on my target date.

I am frustrated that when I started my education with them I was told it was a university and all credits were fully transferable and agreed to the more expensive credit hours so I would have that benefit only to find out that I attended a technical school and thiat is not the case.  And due to this, I am not only going to have to start over with my school to obtain my original degree but I am alos going to eat the costs of all of the student loans that I still owe as a result of waisted education.
