Western Union FSI Ripoff Paid $1800 sent to my Dad to wrong person and refuses to refuses to refund my money ripoff Bridgeton Missouri
Refund for Western Union Payment - MCTN -224-352-7839
On April 27th,2006 I wired via Western Union $1800 to my father in Nigeria for treatment of my mother who was then very ill from cancer. The ref no for the transfer is MCTN -224-352-7839.
When my father went for the money in Jos -he was told that someone else in Lagos -a thousand kilometers away at a First bank branch in Lagos -had been paid the money.
I wrote to Western Union office and they sent a proof of payment but not the ID of the person who collected the money. The signature was not the same at all with my father's and the purported payment was made on Saturday 29th April, 2005 at 6.40pm and I can confirm that bank in Nigeria does not open on Saturdays at all to customers.
I sent a letter back to Western Union disputing this proof along with a affidavit from my Dad who was visiting in June last year but I have not had any feedback from Western Union or got my refund of the $1800 at all.
I need a Refund the $1800 I sent and the fees paid for the transfer since it was my Dad has not been paid the money.
