Westgate Auto Sales John moroni, Moroni Auto Sales. Repossessed my vehicle illegally Franklin Park Illinois
I purchased a vehicle from this company and signed a contract on the 2nd of July. After we have left on the 2nd of July nothing happened. On the 7th of July he called asking for more documents and paperwork. He did this everyday for three days. He called sometime more that 10 times per hour. On the third day I re-read my contract and I did not have to supply anything more than I already have and told him that. He got very upset with me and started to yell and threaten me. I let him know that he would receive the payment when the payment was due on the 16th of august and I would uphold my agreement to the contract. On the 13th of July I walked outside and my vehicle was gone. This was on a Sunday morning I immediately called the police and they told me it was repossessed. I had to wait to Monday to call anybody. I called the lender on Monday and they told me that they don't have a contract with me and they did not repossess the vehicle. That the agreement was between myself and Westgate auto sales. I called John Moroni owner of this establishment and he stated to me that he repossessed it based on me not having full coverage insurance(which I did). He would not let me produce this document to him. He then proceeded to tell me the only way to get the vehicle back was to pay 7000.00 in cash or cashier check or he would sell it at auction in 21 days. I have abided by my contract 100%. He is also holding my stuff hostage in the vehicle. he says he will only give it back if I give him the keys. I went in the 15th of July to his office to show him and he would not let me show him the proof of documentation and told me t get a lawyer and get out of his office.

Clearly you are John or a family member of his, in that case I feel sorry for you. Anyways this isn't the first time this guy/company has been accessed of wrong doing. Just Google his name, I couldn't believe what I read. I just wished I Google him before he robbed me. This guy will get what coming to him and his bad business.
God watches everything we do remember that! You can bad month me if that makes you feel better for what you have done. It doesnt bother me because you don't know me. I just want everyone to learn from my mistakes. Don't buy a car from West Gate Auto in Franklin park he WILL rip you off! Or at least Google him first.
BTW: I have reported this guy and his company to state attorney, The BBC and everyone that would listen.

Oh and I am not talking about the owner....
Seriously, you come off as someone who THINKS they can do what ever they want and if the rest of the world doesn't see it your way, they are the ones that are wrong. Well perhaps that attitude is why your credit is in the toilet and the only way you could get a car was to go to a Buy Here/Pay Here dealer.
Oh and yes it is very telling how your attitude got you in this position. After all they call you for days and because YOU don't THINK you need to give them any information you basically tell them to buzz off. Apparently some of these documents they wanted was insurance. So what else did they ask for?
But when they LEGALLY reposess your vehicle you are all of the sudden very willing to show them this proof. That is your downfall. Because if you truly felt you were right when you went to their office you would not have been so willing to show them this proof, you would have said you don't have to show them anything and to give you back the car. You would be down at a lawyer(perhaps you have a relative), or if not you would be at the courthose filing a Small Claims case.
