It would certainly be worth sueing the dealer for misleading you on the coverage they sold you and for not filing your refund promtly. Rarely does a contract cover bearings and contracts never cover clutches. The dealer should have told you the exclusions when you purchased the coverage. The dealer mislead you. You could read the exclusions portion and that would be clearly spelled out.

It appears the Ford tech from the Ford store said the part was worn and worn parts are not covered how is that Westport Autoi Centers fault? If you did not get anyone to take or return your call like you said FROM WESTPORT AUTO CENTER why did you not go there in person to resolve the matter and cancle the warranty. You can call the warranty company which is provided with the paper work you signed and cancle the warranty. They would instruct the dealer to cancle the warranty on the spot. It sounds like your beef is with Ford if they did not diagnose your car properly which caused the warranty company not to pay. And as far as the warranty company coming to check every part a certified ASE mechanic has just daignosed as worn is a unreasonavble excepectation since the ford dealership would have bennifited if they got to perform the repair. This should be taken down and the ford dealership you dealt with should have there name in the place of Westport Auto Center!

I too have had difficulty with AUL. I cannot take it anymore and am taking legal action. If you paid that much for a warranty, you should be covered, but all AUL does is seperate you from your hard earned cash. I too have written a rippoff report. Definately contact your local court and start a suit. AUL is expecting the regular Joe like you and me to just back off and give up. We need to stand our ground. We purchased this coverage as protection, not to get jerked around. Good luck my friend.
