Westminster,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Boa, I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you. I really feel for the many people who have enrolled in Westwood and have been deceived by their practices. The admissions reps (I was one) and advisors there are trained to enroll and keep students there or else their jobs are in jeopardy. I became an admissions representative there because I thought that I would be helping people better themselves. After I started working there I realized that it was much more like a "used car salesman position." My director wanted me to "push" prospective students into getting them to sign up. I only worked there for a few months because I felt uncomfortable with what I was selling, therefore, my sales were very minimal. My advice to you is to get in contact with the Better Business Bureau and file a report. I would also get in contact with a lawyer if at all possible and tell them your situation. I would call Westwood and ask for an itemized list of what you owe, and have them send it to you. Please record and write down information whenever you talk to them, so you have proof of what they are saying to you. It makes me utterly disgusted that someone used your disability against you so that they can get a sale and keep their job for the time being. I hope your case gets resolved to benefit you and your family. Please, anyone who is thinking about enrolling in Westwood, please consider other colleges that are REGIONALLY accredited before you enroll here. If you need the convenience of online, many community colleges and universities offer many programs and degrees completely online.
