Wheatridge Animal Hospital Tried to rush surgery on my dog that had a malignant tumor in his head that was Fataly untreatable Wheatridge Colorado
My 7 year old dog was bleeding through his nose and not eating. when I took him to Wheatridge Animal Hospital. Without any tests or even a real vet present this trainee told me that I had to get him to surgery as Quick as possible costing 2 to 3 thousand dollars. when I asked about "testing and medications first", she was very surprised to find out that I am fairly educated in first aid wasn't falling for it... She left the room never to return! A different tech comes in giving me options of painkillers and antibiotics. Not only are they taking advantage of people at some of the worst moments of there life, they also are a disgrace to the medical field!!! after going to a different vet I was offered testing and x-rays to see what the problem was. never even mentioning surgery. the test came back positive for cancerous tumor in his nasal passage which is incurable. Knowing I would have spent thousands of dollars on surgery and the tumor would have just grown back made me furious... Expose scams from veterinarians like these on ripoff report!!!
