WHK Property Management Dario Va unsolicited contact. a contract was signed on 08/03/04. Monies sent totaled $598. Money back guarantee. Certified mail sent last month returned unable to forward. Oakland Park, Florida
Received unsolicited contact from WHK regarding our time share. My wife and I signed a contract on August 3, 2004 and paid the $598 by credit card. Item #3 in contract states that WHK will continue to advertise the time share at their expense until the unit sells or rents.
We believed the company was continuing to advertise, per the contract, so we weren't alarmed enough to call until May 16, 2007. I followed the automated instructions and dialed extension #6, then I called on the 17th and was told to dial extension #1. Other calls made that same day instructed me to dial still different extensions.
My last effort to reach the company by phone was in March 2009. It was on September 14, 2010 that we sent a certified letter with a copy of the contract asking for our money to be refunded amd a copy of any ads placed on our behalf. The letter came back unable to deliver. We have alerted the State Attorney General of Florida, Bill McCollum.
We have retained copies of the contract and the Money Back Guarantee. We will cooperate with the effort against WHK in any way possible.
