Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I just spent the last hour reading through all of the SCAM reports filed on Rip Off Report about Wholesale Marketer after coming here initially to file my own report about their s**+**y service. It is unbelievable how every one of these complaints have been followed up by a rebuttal from an employee of Wholesale Marketer often trying to pose as customer. Isn't that illegal? If not, it is sure unethical and I hope they get what's coming to them.

Anyone who is reading this is probably here because they realized that Wholesale Marketer is selling a worthless product that is impossible to make money with and a sales person lied to you to get you to purchase or you are investigating them before making a decision and in that case BEWARE!!!

You don't have to search the internet for very long to find REAL testimonials from Wholesale Marketer customers. Check out some of these reports:

REAL CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

posted on 11 aug 05 - 2:00 am by powerseller

"Don't buy into this sorry company or it's products.

They'll lie to your face about the MSRP and wholesale costs fooling sellers into thinking they are getting a great deal. In many cases you'll be paying more than what you would pay for in department stores. On top of that you'll have to pay $29.95 every month for the privilege."

THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD WITHOUT PERMISSION

"I agree, I tried the 7 day trial, then after 7 days they started to take money out of my account without my knowledge, I was called to go to Iraq, when i came back they took out over $300 out of my bank, I had no idea this was happening. Don't ever shop there, they are a total scam. "

REAL TESTIMONIALS FROM REAL EBAY USERS

"AVOID AVOID AVOID! RED FLAG! CAUTION!

I signed up for their "free" trial. I searched for a very long time researching thousands of their products. Only found 2 items you could even BREAK EVEN with on eBay. Almost all products are either available NEW on eBay for 1/2 their "wholesale" price. Many items are CHEAPER AT WALMART!"

AGAIN, THEY HAVE TO LIE TO MAKE SALES

"A rip off!!!!!

This company is a scam. The only way this company has any members is by telling lies. I looked up products on their website and then asked them their wholesale price. They told me several prices that were way off. Of course the only way to find out that they lied is to join. Don't make the same mistake"

WHEN ASKED TO CANCEL THEY STILL CHARGED THERE CREDIT CARD

"If I could rate this less than 1 - Bad, I would.

I subscribed to the service for a free trial at eBay live. When I got home, I reviewed about 50 of their products on eBay. It was overkill and none were selling at a fair price. Some were selling at less than paid and most were not being bid on at all. So, I went through the proper channels to cancel, got a cancellation number and they still dinged my credit card. My complaint to Product Sourcing has gone unanswered, so I have also logged a complaint to eBay, which responed immediately."

BEWARE

"DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

I bought into their presntation and was even rather inpressed by there selection. However, they only wanted to do business with me if I signed up for their $400.00 a year membership. Which would have been ok if there pricing wasn't as high as retail stores. I can buy the same items on ebay for half the price half the shipping no fees and get it faster and in better shape. BEWARE!"

THE WORST LYING DROP SHIP COMPANY EVER

"LOOKING FOR A GOOD DS COMPANY...THIS ONE IS THE WORST!!

SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF MONEY AND GRIEF!!! They will set you up at a so called discounted up front fee for a year of $225. and tell you all kinds of lies!!! products that you order, are either out-of-stock and not going to be replaced and they never tell you! The packaging is horrendous! You will just have angry customers and lose them. There is NO client support!!!! THERE IS NO REFUND OF YOU UPFRONT COSTS!"

Now those are real customer testimonials from real eBay sellers that sum up really well my experience with Wholesale Marketer. Visit the links I posted above to get the real story behind Wholesale Marketer.

But don't worry. As in all the other Wholesale Marketer complaints I have read here, an employee of the company -- maybe the big dog president himself -- will be along shortly to provide a witty rebuttal posing as somebody else.

Trust me Mr. Wholesale Marketer President. You will get what's coming to you.

Lawrence, It is our goal to provide world-class customer service to all of our customers. In an effort to assist in resolving your concerns I attempted to contact you; however, we do not have a customer named Lawrence that lives in Fairfield, Washington. I am highly interested in resolving your concerns to your satisfaction if you indeed are a customer or if you just have questions before signing up. Please feel free to email me at your convenience at [email protected] ATTN: Clark. As with the rebuttal I posted to Robert (who coincidentally enough also posted a slanderous post against our company but like you Lawrence is not a customer) I would like to address your allegations point by point so the public knows the facts: 1) You stated: I just spent the last hour reading through all of the SCAM reports filed on Rip Off Report about Wholesale Marketer after coming here initially to file my own report about their s**+**y service. It is unbelievable how every one of these complaints have been followed up by a rebuttal from an employee of Wholesale Marketer often trying to pose as customer. Isn't that illegal? If not, it is sure unethical and I hope they get what's coming to them. a. First off, we take all feedback seriously and we use it to continually improve our products and services. And the word SCAM is a very serious word and charge. Nothing in your post backs up this allegation. Let's please get in contact so we can discuss and resolve the problems you claimed to have encountered with our company. b. Secondly, the only time an employee of ours has responded to a post he addressed himself as such. His name is Daniel. If you really read his responses you will plainly see that he never tried to hide his identity. Additionally, please do not make reckless and slanderous allegations against our valued customers that do take the time to succeed. Our customers order and re-sell millions of dollars worth of products thru our drop-ship service. If it is a scam as you claim, how are our customers able to successfully re-sell and order millions of dollars worth of products every year? Just because someone has something positive to say about a company or someone, doesn't mean they are an employee. c. Thirdly, you claim we use fictious names in backing ourselves up on this website. Once again this simply is not the case. However, you are posting either under a fictious name or you are posting slanderous and reckless posts against our company without ever being one of our customers which may not be illegal but is definitely unethical. 2) You stated: Anyone who is reading this is probably here because they realized that Wholesale Marketer is selling a worthless product that is impossible to make money with and a sales person lied to you to get you to purchase or you are investigating them before making a decision and in that case BEWARE!!! a. Our product is not worthless. As stated before our customers are re-selling successfully millions of dollars annually of our drop-ship products. As I stated earlier we are constantly improving our products and services so our customers have the best tools and education needed to succeed in selling our products for a profit. b. Our account managers are closely supervised and trained to properly represent our company. If you indeed had a bad experience with one of our account managers (you never mentioned a name or how you were supposedly lied to) then that would help us resolve your concerns. Our customers are our most valued assets and we treat them as such. 3) You then copied only negative comments from the cracker.com. Here are some positive comments from that same thread: a. posted on 13 aug 05 - 4:53 am by buck to xmz You said you signed up for a 7 day free trial. So how did they bill you with out your noticing? When I sign up for free trials I realize that if I don't cancle before the trial they will bill me. That is why I called Blockbuster video, and real so that I wouldn't be billed. Maybe you should read things before you sign up??? While I am sad that you got billed $300 while you were in Iraq, I don't see how that is that companies falt, unless you TOLD them and ASKED them to not bill you. Otherwise they wouldn't know that. I don't understand why so many of us think we don't have to talk to the companies we do business with. And they are completely responsible for our mistakes. Let's be fair guys. b. posted on 15 sep 05 - 1:40 pm by briankj to bannebaron There appears to be only one individual who has posted anything on this forum who truly understands the wholesale to retail supply chain. First of all, it CLEARLY states how the free trial works when you join. It CLEARLY shows the days and hours you can cancel the 7 trial. If it doesn't say you can cancel on Sunday, don't wait 'til Sunday to cancel. As far as pricing, I know people who are not just making a few extra bucks utilizing WM's product supply, but making good money. How? Becuase they understand supply chain management. Of course WM is not going to be able to get the same wholesale pricing as companies that spend billions of dollars a year at the wholesale tier(Target, Walmart, BestBuy, ETC). You have to look at what they offer as a whole. Yes, some of their pricing is not at a wholesale level some might expect, but then some products are. There are some products that you can mark up 50% to 300% and still be competitive. You have to look around at more than just one or two of their suppliers. With the right marketing and pricing, you can really do well. Some of you people need to read what your signing up for when you do trials. And furthermore, do your research before you start bad mouthing companies and raising the scam flag. c. posted on 17 sep 05 - 6:00 am by jimmyonline I find it funny when people say scam to everything they can't make work for themselves. Running a business online takes alot of work and Research. The problem is that people think they can signup up with a company like WM and pick a few products, post them on ebay and expect to make money... or buy and ecommerce system, put some products on and expect to sell. It's not that easy. It takes research... and if you can't find a few products that sell out of thousands that companies like WM supply, then you might want to re-think beeing in business. You'll have to find product niches and go get that target audience and convince them to buy from you instead of competitors. Price is not the only factor either.Do you think that because ebay has a dvd for sale 2$ cheaper than others online... that all of the other e-commerce stores will stop making a profit because it's impossible to make a profit because it's for sale on eBay at a lower price? There are other factors influencing a customer's decision and that's where your entrepreneurial talents will come in handy. Some of these companies, like WholesaleMarketer are very good... they charge a monthly fee but give you something for it... they save you the trouble of having to deal with numerous suppliers, the setup costs to deals with them, the trouble to open new accounts and if they're really useful.. they won't make a profit on the products they sell cause that's what the membership fee is for. They have to make money somehow... and as an business person you have to expect to spend some money.. .come on. If you can't afford 29.99 per month for your business, you shouldn't be in business. I've been dealing with Wholesale marketer and NoMinimum.com which have similar services and have had great result with niche products and make well over my little monthly fees I pay them. 4) As with your cracker.com copying and pasting of ONLY negative comments you did the same thing with your copying and pasting of the ebay.com comments. Here are some positive comments from that same forum: a. EXCELLENT QUALITY SERVICE!! Wholesale Marketer is a QUALITY service. They do the research so you don't get scammed! They make no promises they don't meet. It takes time & effort to develop the quality service they have and Wholesale Marketer has done EXACTLY that! b. Best dropship source I've found. There are thousands of items to choose from. Do your homework and SELL the item to the customer. Research your potential offerings. A wise man once told me, "Selling is the HIGHEST PAYING HARD WORK or the LOWEST PAYING EASY WORK you could ever hope to find. I have dropshipped hundreds of items with Wholesale Marketer. I've tried other "DROPSHIPPERS", and these guys are the BEST DROPSHIP SOURCE I HAVE FOUND. c. Good so far I'm relatively new to this source, but have had good success so far. I've found that with some research and luck some of their stuff does quite well. Their support is a little lacking. Good telephone access would be a help. d. EVERY PRODUCT I HAVE HAD DROPPED SHIPPED HAS COME UNDAMAGED AND QUICKLY. I USUALLY GET GOOD FEEDBACK ON THE QUICKNESS OF SHIPPING. e. This is the best Dropshipping company. five stars A+++ This is the best Dropshipping company. five stars A+++. Great and Fast Customer Service and support Great selection of products, great Prices, Fast and easy of Use Website. thanks wholesale marketer f. WHOLESALE MARKETERS ARE EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH. WHOLESALE MARKETERS ARE EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH AND ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.I HAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR AND HAVE DONE VERY WELL. ROGER g. This is an excellent company! Sometimes, I did find it difficult to sell products on eBay, simply because I would have to sell at such a low price, and barely make a profit. I guess that's true with anything. The feedback that I received from customers indicated that the products were excellent, and shipped out really fast! They were absolutely great with their customer support. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. h. Very reliable company! Wholesale Marketer is quick to ship and quick to respond with questions. Their "help" menu is extensive and their products are of great quality. i. They are pretty good IF you know what you are doing. I have been with this outfit for a little less than one month. In that time I have sold about 40% of the auctions I have put up (about $750 in sales). I have made between 12-18% profit on each auction. It all comes down to what you sell and how you sell it. You got to do your research or your doomed before you even start an auction. I can't sell 8 out of 10 items they offer because of market saturation. I can do wonders with the others. In the end, I truly hope you do your own research and make your own decision on whether to use our service or not. If you try hard enough and search long enough you will find negative and positive comments about almost every company you have ever dealt with. As with anything you have to trust yourself enough to make up your own decision. You should not be basing your entire decision solely on comments from complete strangers. Especially ones that may not even be customers of the company you are researching. Like I said earlier Lawrence in Fairfield, Washington is NOT a current or even a past customer of ours. His statements and allegations are reckless and without facts. Keep that in mind. Please let us know how we can help you if you are serious about our services. Sincerely, Clark Winegar Director of Product Management Wholesale Marketer
