I had already lost money with a deposit to Small Business Funding Co., Inc. and was not going to do it again. This company called and stated that they had bought the assets of that company and the contact list and was offering to make right what the former company had messed up. My account person was Mike Henderson and he told me how hard they were working to clear up the misunderstandings. I told him that I was not interested until or unless I had something in writing that they could deliver on the promises that he was making. I also told him that I would not spend a dime with his company until I had a letter in hand stating that I had guaranteed funding and it had to be signed by the owner of the company or at least acknowledged by the owner. He delivered all of this and a conversation with the owner of the company, Mr. Kelly Montgomery, assuring me that all was well, the grant completion would provide my company with the $200,000.00 that I needed to meet my capital requirements and that they could have my funding starting in January of 2010.
NOT! Same old! Same old!
The company disappeared from its location over the weekend about two months ago, according to their neighbors. No funding was ever delivered. No business plan was ever delivered.
