I called the main campus to find out what I would have to do to drop this school to transfer to another. I was told I would not have a balance. If I would have had a balance I would have taken the last class to finish out. THe whole point to this information was to not have to pay more. I was told I would not have a balance if I dropped, so I did.

Two weeks later I got a letter stating they sent back my student aid and that I had a balance. I called the woman back that same day. She told me she was wrong and she "meant to call me." Yet these two weeks went by, knowing she told me wrong, without a phone call.

She went ahead and sent back my aid and went through that process without notifying me when I could have done something about it. Now she tells me she can't waive the balance for something she lied to me about and would not have happened in the first place if she would have told me the truth when she found out. This woman is Jenny in the financial dept. of the main campus of this school. She even told me not to listen to the accounting dept. in the Des Moines office.
