winbidwin TOTAL SCAM ON iPHONE 6 CONTEST! puyallup Washington
On January 27,2015, I entered a contest on the winbidwin auction site and won an iPHONE 6, AND 10 free bids. I had to pay the shipping cost of $9.99, and put the cost on my visa card.
I waited until February 10, 2015 to receive an order tracking number. When I inquired about the number, I was informed that they were having shipping delays due to weather, etc and would send me a tracking number as soon as it was available.
When I asked for an update on March 1,2015, I was told they had lost their supplier and was searching for another. I asked if they didn't have a supplier, why did the auction site still have iPhone 6 on the auction site to be bid on. No response!
I asked for an update on March 23,2015 and was informed they couldn't supply the phone and were canceling the order and returning my shipping cost. I replied that this was not acceptable and requested an item of equal value. No response!
March 27,2015, I sent another email and asked if they had arrived at an equitable and fair decision. No response. I have all of the correspondence between myself and winbidwin and it is obvious now that it was a scam from the start. They never intended to deliver the item and as with most scams, they know that most people will not pursue the issue. I would like to see the site taken off the internet, and whoever is responseable punished, severely!
