First of all let me thank Rip-Off Report, it was their resource that saved me finacially and most likely mentally! This all began after I entered into employemnt with a Lousville based "marketing firm" then called Global Marketing, now called Momentum Marketing, all of which is really part of a huge scam operated by Cydcore but that is an entirely different report (look them up). I found myself at the point of evection, behind an enormouse pile of debt and on the verge of devorce, all b/c the money i was promised was not what i recieved with Global Marketing. Of corse when facing losing your car and home student loans can rend to fall to the bottom of your priorities. A year and a half later i am for the most part stable financially and not single (yet) but my student loans have fallen into a default status. I recieve a call from Sandy Palmer with Windham professionals offering me the world and all i have to do is let Windham handle my student loans (sounds great right). I would consolidate all loans with them and in only 9 months bring my loan out of default and restore my credit ( it just keeps getting better). Initially i agreed and them Mrs Palmer ask that she can get a voice recording of my agreeing to allowing Windham to handle my loans. This is where i became suspisciouse. While working for Global we were required to scam ATT customers out of their money with all types of paperwork that looked legit but at the end of it all we called an operator and had them record the cust giving up their hard earned cash to a sneeky co like ours. Im not proud of what we did but once there i had to eat so i went along. I made up some bs to Mrs Palmer and told her i would call back at a later time and finish she was a little pushy but agreed and i hung up. Before we spoke agian my wife gave birth to our son, through what i consider a miracle based on all the complicaitons we had he was healthy but non-the less we were stuck in the hospital for quite some time. A few weeks later i contacted Mrs. Palmer agian, this time she had quite a diff ton, remisent of those credit card colection ageincied i had dealt with in my time at Global. She made all sorts of threats and tried bulling me into agreeing, only this time i had to give her and acc. number for which she would collect 100.00 before processing my consolidation reguest (a little odd right) i agian made up some b/s about not knowing my acc. number and tole her i would call back. I imidiatly contacted the Ky higher education dep., where my loan originated and explained my concerns with Windham. The rep was amazed at the tactics and prectices of windham. They agreed to mail and app. request for me to apply with an independant lender and were amazing. So as a courtesy i agian called Sandy Palmer to let her know that i was taking an alternate means of apllication, simply because i felt more comfortble doing it on my own. She freaked out, called me an idiot threaten to mark me as "refusual to pay" among other b.s. (FYI a refusal to pay notice only applies to Windham and does not affect my actual loan or credit info in any way). Angred i decided to call Mrs Palmer out on a few things. 1) if her concern was my loan why would it matter if i went through her or on my own 2.) why wasnt her co accredit with the BBB, which they are not 3.) why had she not made me aware of the incredible amount of charges i would be paying Windham to apply for me when i can do it via Ky higher ed at no cost aside from intial interest. 4.) why had they refused to accept official item or cashier check payment in lue of an acc. number or card number 5.) why would they not communcate in written form vs. over the phone contact. The answer to all thes is so they can SCREW YOU. Do not believe their scare tactics or theats of bs. Do your own research look them up online and on Rip-Off report, contact the BBB, contact your college or original lender. You can solve your problem on your own but be willing to work! If you want a good laugh call Sandy Palmer 1-877-768-8803 ext 2639 and probe her about Windhams Buisness practices, im sure other reps their will be just as entertaining though she is the only one i have delt with.

Good Luck,

Do not lump Cydcor with Windham Professionals

First off, I was recently harrassed and intimidated by Windham Professionals to NO end... they threatened me with "my wages one day from garnishment" as a result of my student loans being behind.  Thank you for the warning; I did go through with the verbal agreement part, but was supposed to sign something electronically sent via e-mail, which I did not receive and thus bought me the time to do this research.

On a separate note however, Cydcor (there's no "E" at the end of it, by the way) is the broker firm to a marketing firm I had formerly worked for as well, and although I cannot speak to how each firm operates (as they're all independently owned/operated), what I can say is that while I did work for them, Cydcor was absoloutely great to me, and are far from a "scam" business, nor should they be yours nor anyone's scapegoat for falling into financial turmoil.  When I worked for them, it was clear that it was 100% commission-based, which I gladly accepted since I consider myself "above average", and while I worked hard every day, I probably grossed $55K my first year on the job.  I saw plenty of kids come and go, but the one thing I noticed was that the ones that stayed had the ability to communicate and a strong work-ethic, while those who didn't "survive" typically liked to blame everything and everyone else for their failures.  Self-accountability is a quality everyone needs to endure and succeed in the marketing/sales industry.  Please do not lump a straightforward company like Cydcor in with an intimidation-tactic-based company like Windham.
