First off, I was recently harrassed and intimidated by Windham Professionals to NO end... they threatened me with "my wages one day from garnishment" as a result of my student loans being behind. Thank you for the warning; I did go through with the verbal agreement part, but was supposed to sign something electronically sent via e-mail, which I did not receive and thus bought me the time to do this research.
On a separate note however, Cydcor (there's no "E" at the end of it, by the way) is the broker firm to a marketing firm I had formerly worked for as well, and although I cannot speak to how each firm operates (as they're all independently owned/operated), what I can say is that while I did work for them, Cydcor was absoloutely great to me, and are far from a "scam" business, nor should they be yours nor anyone's scapegoat for falling into financial turmoil. When I worked for them, it was clear that it was 100% commission-based, which I gladly accepted since I consider myself "above average", and while I worked hard every day, I probably grossed $55K my first year on the job. I saw plenty of kids come and go, but the one thing I noticed was that the ones that stayed had the ability to communicate and a strong work-ethic, while those who didn't "survive" typically liked to blame everything and everyone else for their failures. Self-accountability is a quality everyone needs to endure and succeed in the marketing/sales industry. Please do not lump a straightforward company like Cydcor in with an intimidation-tactic-based company like Windham.
