When they originally contacted me I asked if we were going to be paid referrals but he said no, but its in the works,so I told him to call me when its done. Then one day I was called by Kevin Richman and he told me that there was great news, and that we would be getting paid on off turf sales. At that point a meeting was set up with Sammy Arstiega, myself, and Kevin Richman. Durring the meeting our first question was would we be getting paid on off turf sales, he said absolutely, and that he would personally oversee it, he also talked about a hiring bonus. And he said after a week of sales he would get it for me.

I felt more comfortable after more questions, and I trusted him. We proceeded forward with the badge process. In the first two weeks I got over 60 RGUS for their company and an appointment was made with Kevin Richman, Steve Williams, and Freddie Mills. During the meeting they gave me a thousand dollar bonus, knowing I had over 60 RGUS sold with 50% complete and the rest set up for installation. They told me that they needed me in Fresno and many things were offered: my own office, room and board, a gym membership, 2 to 3 recruits a day, from Steve Williams the vice president. My own hotel room, magazine ads, and to work personally with someone at Comcast for my leads, I agreed to try out Fresno. But before everything could transpire, the things they said they were going to do werent getting done and things were slowly starting to change.

Not only was I going to be going to Fresno but 3 or 4 other individuals were going with me, so this decision does not only affect me. After this occurred my team and I felt we no longer could trust Winmark. We were told on Thursdays we would be getting paid but on September 15, 2011 we checked our balances and they were negative. I then called Kevin Richman. After numerous attempts at contacting him, he told me that Steve Williams had put a hold on my payroll, I then contacted Steve Williams. He proceeded to give me the third degree about not wanting to work for them, after several blind attempts to get me back, he then told me he would look into my payroll for me and hung up on me. After several Emails he then sent me a text message and said that a majority of my sales were off turf and Comcast doesnt pay off turf. I then told him that thats not true,Kevin Richmond said we would.

I said so what are you trying to tell me? That you arent going to pay me, then he said No we arent saying that, Comcast isnt going to pay you. And then persisted once again to ask me if I was going to go work for them or DMI. I told him my personal decision is my business. I then asked him again if they were going to pay me, and as I had communicated with him during the week: I will not let you take advantage of me or walk on me and will seek legal action. He started to threaten me with how many people he knew from Comcast, and mentioned Rashads name and told me that he would have a thorough investigation done on my sales, when in fact I had showed him all the transactions that I had sold for the last two weeks  during the meeting with the owner as this was part of the requirement of my bonus, the proof.

By this time it was already the second period for that to get paid again. And this time our cards were more negative. I then called Steve Williams again. He then persisted to tell me that Comcast doesnt pay for out of turf, but he would pay me for the on turf sales for that second pay period, which he didnt do either. He then asked me again if I was working for DMI, and I told him that was none of his business, and asked him again if he was going to pay me, he then said Fine your termed.. we no longer need your services. I then asked him if he was terminating me because I asked him to pay me, and he hung up on me. I then received a phone call from someone I didnt know asking me about what happened at Winmark. I told him what happened and he told me he was having the same problems. I then texted Steve Williams and that your guys are calling me and asking me what happened and I told them.

I told him this is not a good reputation your leaving to have or the kind of attention that you need to get. He then called me immediately and told me that if I didnt leave his guys alone he was going to call everyone he knew at Comcast and have a thorough investigation done on all my sales. And all my sales are all legitimate and all canvassed, I told him to go ahead and do it because Im not afraid I havent done anything, and another devious attempt not to pay me. I am now going to have to seek legal action to get compensated for work Ive already finished, this is going to take a lot of extra energy and work, and there is a great distance from their corporate office and where the work was completed, and where I am currently residing. I did call Steve and leave him a final text message asking if he was going to pay me, and I have yet to hear a response.

This is a company that subcontracts door to door sales for Comcast. What they say they pay is great, however, there is nothing good about not getting paid at all. I'd rather get paid 50% of something than 100% of nothing. When they originally contacted me I asked if we were going to be paid referrals he said:"No, but its in the works." So I told him to call me when it happens. Then one day I was contacted by Kevin Richman and he told me that there was great news, and that I would be getting paid on off turf sales. At that point a meeting was set up with Sammy Arstiega, myself, and Kevin Richman. Durring the meeting our first question was: "Will we be getting paid on off turf sales?" he said absolutely, and that he would personally oversee it; he also talked about a hiring bonus. He said after a week of sales he would get the bonus for me. After some more questioning, i became comfortable, and he gained my trust. We then proceeded forward with the badging process.

In the first two weeks I got over 60 RGUS (sales units) for their company and an appointment was made with Kevin Richman, Steve Williams, and Freddie Mills. During the meeting they gave me a thousand dollar bonus, knowing I had over 60 RGUS sold with 50% complete and the rest set up for installation. They told me that they needed me in Fresno and many things were offered: my own office, room and board, a gym membership, 2 to 3 recruits a day, from Steve Williams the vice president, my own hotel room, magazine ads for recruitment, and to work personally with someone at Comcast for my leads (area to work), I agreed to try out Fresno. But before everything could transpire, the things they said they were going to do werent getting done and things were slowly starting to change. I have many personal things i had to rearrange, i had to restructure my whole life for this move, and i did, changed doctors, explain to my children why i wasn't going to be able to see them as often, everything. Not only was I going to be going to Fresno but 3 or 4 other individuals were going with me, so this decision was affecting more than just my life.

When it came time to go i had my end covered and they had done nothing on their behalf, besides act like they were too busy to take my calls, email me back, text me, and give me the runaround. i had 3 people trained ready to go, motivated, and excited. 3 people who said they would drop their lives and take off to take on an unpenetrated market.

After the runaround and lack of communiction my team and I felt we no longer could trust Winmark. But the final straw was when it came to pay. We were told that 9 times out of 10 on Thursdays we would be getting paid, if not then for sure Friday. But on September 15, 2011 we checked our cards they were negative. Winmark pays you with this scam of a debit card that charges for every single kind of transaction, even just to view your balance. I then called Kevin Richman. After numerous attempts at contacting him, he told me that Steve Williams, the V.P. of Winmark, had put a hold on my payroll, I then contacted Steve Williams. He proceeded to give me the third degree about not wanting to work for them, after several blind attempts to get me back, he then told me he would look into my payroll for me, and then hung up on me.
