Found out I was being charged $7.00/mo for WLI*reservationrewards. Assumed husband had enrolled in a program. NOT SO! Husband approached me about it, I looked up company and called their customer service. I was told that I had joined program when I signed up for Hotels.com. Told them I did NOT sign up and wanted full refund of charges. I was told no, but they'd cancel my membership.

I then cancelled Hotels.com membership and explained to them why. I am now filing this rip off report and will next contact the Better Business Bureau and then will call my brother, who happens to be an attorney.

This company has a pop up screen that asks you to fill out a survey for cash or free gas. You click from screen to screen and then, when you discover you have to join something to get the "freebies" and cancel, they have already have your info.

Do a Google search and just put in WLI reservationrewards and you'll get a TON of complaints of fraud.

they are going to refund all of my money as a "courtesy" to me

I just got an email from reservationrewards stating that they are going to refund all of my money as a "courtesy" to me. Of course, this is after I wrote a complaint and asked for their corporate address and phone number. While waiting for a response, I found it myself: WLI Reservation Rewards 101 Merritt Seven, 7th Floor (Corporate Norwalk, CT 06851 (203) 846-3300 I then went to Better Business Bureau online www.bbbonline.com and filed a complaint. Discovered that they are in good standing with BBB because when they are given a complaint through BBB, reservationrewards settles it. (They've apparently had a lot of complaints.) A little while later, I was sent an email from reservationrewards stating they were refunding my money. I think this was in response to my request for corporate info and not because of my BBB complaint since it can take up to 30 days to get a response--according to the BBB site. Oh, and the address they sent me wasn't the same one I'd found on my own. Plus, the BBB wants a company phone number that isn't toll free. They sent me the toll free number. Notice the one I found on my own isn't toll free. This was all settled within a few hours. Let's just see if I actually get a refund on my credit card.
