I have decided on or about Decembar 29, 2006, to buy a yorkshire terrier. While on the internet I had came across Wong Anderson, who sells puppies.

While having conversation with him through email,(which I have proof), he decided that he was going to sell me jetty, who was a yorkie for 400 dollars. Since I thought it was a good deal, I agreed in buying the dog.

Since he is located in Kentucky and I am in Maryland, he wrote to me and said that I would have to transfer my money to him via western union since he would be going to Africa for three years. So I did the transfer, which was, I believe, the 29th of December.

He then sent me the confirmation email saying that he got the money and the my puppy would be shipped to me by that Saturday afternoon which was the next day. I didn't receive it.

He then emailed me again and said that he just got a report from the nigerian government that there would be a tax on everything that was shipped out and that I would have to give him an extra 200 dollars. I responded to him by telling him that that wasn't my fault and that I did what I was obligated to do; To give the 400 dollars for the puppy. He emailed me once or twice saying that he was sorry for the inconviences but that it was apart of their polices, which that was not true either.

I instructed him that he should wire my money back to me ASAP, and it has been since Saturday which now makes it three days that he still haven't wired my money back to me. I remember telling him that I hope that this wasn't a scam and he told me that I should stop worrying, but how could I not worry when I just wired my money to someone who I believe was legit.

"Doctor" Wong Anderson seemed legit enough when I found his site. The only thing I was most worried about was that it was a puppy mill. He has sent me two emails just today, explaining that his "babies" come with a guarantee and are AKC certified. I looked around his website, and notice no links to the forum or other sections worked...except those that went to the "payment" page. I googled the address listed on his site. Looked like a regular vet...except Dr. Rip-off wasn't listed as a vet there. Came to Ripoffreport. Would love law enforcement to use me to get this scumbag. I'm still emailing him...he's expecting me to send payment soon. Ticked off in GA

We have just been informed that so called Dr. Wong Anderson is using our clinic address for his online puppy farm scam. Fegenbush Lane Animal Clinic is a well-respected Animal Hospital in the Louisville Area and has no dealings with puppy farms of any type, and has no knowledge of who this "Dr. Anderson" really is. Kentucky State Police as well as the Kentucky Attorney General's office have been contacted and we will be diligently working wtih them to bring these scam artists to justice. David Young

Asking for Western Union is a sign of a scam

File a complaint with FTC.gov and or at IC3.gov. They might be able to get the person based on the email information, if you hurry. Local police should be talked to as well. There is no puppy. There's a guy in Africa telling his buddies about how easy it is to get people to send cash via Western Union. (If you somehow found Wong Anderson by following links from Fegenbush Lane Animal Clinic, let them know.) A money transfer can be picked up at ANY Western Union office. The address that you (probably) put on the transfer does not control where the money goes. A recipient address makes it easier for the money to be picked up. A security phrase makes it possible for anyone to pick up a transfer. A Western Union transfer should only be used when you do not care about the money -- e.g. sending it to relatives or friends.

Anytime someone tells you to send money via Western Union, it should set off warning bells. This is the way that the Nigerian scammers work. You will probably never see your money again - it's long gone. The Puppy-vet website is a fraud as well...
