Working Assets what a big mistake going with this cell company thru sprint Ripoff Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania
I went with working assets cell phone company thru sprint because I thought I could support some good causes, since they use some of their profits to help different causes.
what a huge mistake. they give 200 minutes for 30.00 and 450 minutes for 40.00. I don't use my phone much so I thought it would be OK
I was going thru a family crisis (family member dying)and used more minutes than usual and thru the ordeal called and up the minutes, explained the mishap to them and they said they would give me a credit. A month later they sent me a bill for 422.28 and that's after I already paid them $250.00. I called to cancel and they charged me another $200.00 for that.
In the mean time they spamed me to death on e-mails and in the bill trying to get more and more money out of me for the good causes. Very irritating! What a joke! the joke is on me for thinking these people care about anyone. when I called customer service to cancel or state my problems, all they could say is we will charge you for canceling and that was it. How's that for aweful customer service. So what I thought was a good deed and a cost of 30.00 a month ended up being almost a $1000.00. I hope the extra $ I gave them due to my ignorance and not keeping track of things more carefully is put towards a good cause at least. That 45 cents a minute can bit you in the butt, before you know it...So many businesses I notice take advantage of consumers inexperience and lack of knowledge or critical circumstances, so beware...
