World of pets (Gary Nudelman and Joe have worked there since june 2 2013 the first week was great until i notice the sales people saleing sick puppys i saw them sale one puppy with ear mites and one with scabes on his head all in one day then when i started to say something to the manager joe about them doing this he calls me on my day off to tell me they are cutting hours and he will call me when he needs me.I am a true animal lover and hated to see them treat the pups like that.I use to come in to work in the mornings to feed them and it is a bunch of mice poop all in there bowls and you can smell it really bad. brooklyn New York
All they do is keep giving them the same meds even if they dont know what is wrong with them. I also have seen the cashier not ask for id for a $2000 purchase they do not care about the pups at all. They take in pups that are to young to be away from there mothers and some of them have died because of this i have worked in petco for 5 years and have never seen pets get treated this way. All they care about is making money and making sure everything on the outside looks good so the customer will buy buy buy.
I love all animals/pets and i do not want to see them get treated this way . In a way i still do work there im just on call as Gary or Joe would say it but i know why im on call if something is not done soon those poor lil puppys all will be dead soon and it will be on there hands. I started working with another girl there and they put her in the westchester store but she use to work in a vets office and when she saw how the pups was treated she asked to go to the other store so its not that im writing this cause im mad but because i want to make sure that the pups are well taken care of by people that care.
I startd working there june 2 2013 it was great for the first couple of days then i started noticing alot of sick pups. Everyday i was taking a sick pup down stairs to get meds. I also notice them selling sick pups one had ear mites and the other one had scabes and they where both sold on the same day without even telling the customer.
I told the manager Joe but come to find out he was the one that sold them. Iam a kennel person which means i see everything that goes on with the pets. I have come in to feed the pups in the morning and there is mice poop all in the cages and in the pups food bowls and i know that the mice poop can get the pups really sick. The manager joe did not want the kennel workers to say anything to the customers no hi or by just watch the pups. Now since i said something to Joe about the way they clean and care for the dog i hav6e not gotten any days to work. Joe calls me 6/17/2013 to tell me that they are cutting hours and he will call me when he needs me.
