World of Watches WOW Bad customer service Their ERROR is your PROBLEM. Internet
They have great prices but lousy customer service. They shipped me the wrong watch. The SKU# dangling off the LADIES watch I received is the same as on the website associated with e MENS watch that I ordered for my husband. When I called to report the error - they had me check the tag, then insisted I simply ordered the wrong watch. They wanted me to ship it back on my dime so they could replace it!
I argued and pointed them to the web page I ordered from which still showed the MENS watch with the SKU# I was shipped. That was not enough, I had to take a picture of the watch I was shipped to "prove" I did not order/receive the wrong watch (it's hard to do, since you find the watch you like with photo and add it to the shoppng cart - it would be hard to accidentally order the wrong watch.). It looks nothing like the watch on the website.
After I sent everything over a week passed and I heard nothing. I called Alexis and had to remind her of the issue. Now I was getting really angry. She said the watch I was sent was correct on-line - luckily I took a screen shot of the website showing the MENS watch with the SKU number I was shipped (which is apparently the SKU for a WOMENS watch and posted in error). After proving once again it was not me, she agreed to send me a mailing label. I just received it last night, and it is for UPS Ground. The box they shipped to me in was UPS Express and you cannot use a UPS Ground label on it. I e-mailed her last night to tell her I needed a UPS Express label and she simply e-mailed me back to say that is what they issue. Period.
So, now I have to find new packaging for this and risk them saying I mailed it back improperly (they have a note saying you must use the same packaging to ship it back). You can see I've spent a great deal of time on this, and I still don't have it resolved. BTW, after much complaining about how much time I spent trying to correct their error, they offered me a $10 gift card for a future purchase. Quite frankly, my time and the frustration they have caused my trying to correct something on their end is insulting. The hours I spent alone are worth several hundred dollars since I am a consultant that bills out at $150/hour. I will tell everyone not to shop at WOW. It did not WOW me at all!
