Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company is indeed a rip-off, absolutely no question about it. I have lost my entire life savings trying to make it work and now am left with nothing. I am curious to learn if we as members are entitled to our money back, or if anyone has had any luck with getting a refund. Also, has anyone contacted a lawyer to see if we have a good court case? Please reply to (e-mail address removed by ripoffreport - please reply by clicking on rebuttal button) with any information.

Thanks

Unreasonable People are hurting WTA

#2Consumer Suggestion

This is the problem, many of the people complaining on this site are lazy and when they went into business with WTA thinking that they will become millionaires over night. Well, that is not the case. WTA is not a get rich overnight business. Just look at Jonathan, he mentioned that he is doing great because because he is actually putting some time in to it. Also, many people fail miserable because they do not follow the business model. Look at Millicent, she wrote about WTA and latter confessed that her failure was due to her own frustration! Even Richard an Employee at WTA said that there are only about 5 unhappy agents. And to me that is a FANTASTIC ratio. Another lie that is out there is WTA shut its doors in California. If that is the case then why isn't there phone disconnected? You see it is all falsehoods by a few which is causing WTA to lose their good name in the community. I suggest you lazy people that are crying and expecting a hand out to actual put some time and effort into your business. I also suggest stop writing negative comments about WTA. Because if you are a real member you know that WTA reserves the right to sue you for slander (READ YOUR CONTRACT!). Remember to look in the mirror first! Richard, Hamilton

I bought into WTA for almost $7,000 and they were supposed to train me. Most of the training was verbatim from the workbook they sent. All the books with names of companies was so old, they had addresses from the World Trade Center in them. Some had no web sites or anyway to contact them. When I did order something from their website, there was no response. Now I can't even get to the website. They haven't sent a letter or anything telling me what is going on. Don't buy this!

Don't get ripoff by a bogus opportunity of World Traders Association and International Merchandise Group(IMG).

#4Consumer Suggestion

Thu, April 08, 2004

World Traders Association(WTA) in CA was busted and shutdown by CA attorney general and the company registeration revoked after numerous complains from public for fraud and breaking of state laws and policy. Now WTA re-open with a different name called International Merchandise Group(IMG) and beginning to ripoff the Americans again. Already the internet is littered with numerous complains of frauds by WTA and IMG from all over the US states. These 2 companies run a biggest internet scam by looting the Americans with a phony business opportunity. Once they take your money, they will show you a phony list of items as a gimmick and then they will tell you "GOOD LUCK". If you ask your money back they will point at you a middle finger. I have many friends and business partners who were cheated by WTA and IMG. Check with better business bureau. Many people are after these companies and they are being sued from left and right. They are simply a ripoff king. When WTA registeration was revoked on May 2003, by law, WTA must notify all members and offer to settle with each and every members. Instead, they quietly dump all members (over 500 investers) and open a new company, IMG, in a different in Colorado, persumeably, they can get away with this. But now you have busted for your act WTA!!! We are notifying this matter to the CA, NV and CO attorney general office. You will be dealt in the court of law. All members who have lost thier investment fee of $6950 should report to CA, NV and CO state attorney general as well as attorney general in your own state. This company will be prosecuted to full extend of the law.

Message from World Traders Association Dear Ripoff Report, We affirm that we had 20-25 members that were unhappy with our services, for varies reasons , over the past 7 years. Considering that we have been in business since 1996, that is an average of 3 members a year. We have either given settlements and offered mediation or arbitration in the state the member resides. If you are an unhappy member, please contact me to discuss these options. We are not able to list email addresses, but any real members will have our corporate email already. Thank you for your time, Harry Fisher FYI - It is obvious to us that with the options we give, the people whom post on your site are either bogus or unreasonable.
