World Wide Van Lines LLC Moving company Brokers NOT a moving company, liars, frauds, cheats - Lewes, Delaware
This company is a broker of movers NOT a moving company as they portray. I verified 4 times that I would get an 18 wheeler that would hold all of my belongings & that it would be a "World Wide Van lines truck" and that I had "overestimated" on my furniture weight. 4 times I was told yes, no problem and that the concerns I had about the "negative" reviews wouldn't come true, that my great grandmothers pieces were in good hands. I was told those reviews were untrue. Even after I got the contact and I talked to Chase, again, about the information, I was told, it was just standard, but that what he'd been telling me was the absolute truth. IT WAS NOT!!! We ended up with a company that may or may not be a sub of the USA Relocation that was sued for fraud out of Florida (accent & the office doesn't identify the name of the company on the recording). We got 2 movers not 4. NOT an 18 wheeler but a 24' so some of my belongings got left behind since they didn't fit in the truck. They loaded my grandmother's pieces & wrapped them nicely the first time. BUT the truck didn't have a D.O.T. number & suddenly the truck had maintence to be done before it could leave the state of VA & my things that didn't get left behind were "re-loaded" into a Penske truck and NOT well, scratches, dents, gouges, the gambit. They let it slip another job got completed, hmmm So the 700 miles they had to drive for my things was postponed? I moved those pieces over 1800 miles in several trips over the years and never an issue, I'm older now & thought I'd pay the extra for professionals...DO NOT HIRE ANY OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! It cost us nearly $2000 EXTRA & we had to have the money BEFORE they would deliver our furniture!! Smacks of fraud & extortion?!
NEVER SIGN A CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SEE THE MOVERS & TRUCK!
