Quote was from WW Van Lines...WORlD Wide Transfer somehow on paperwork.
At weigh station tried to demand more money....cash! Of Course! Negotiated for less, what a nerve! Did not get furniture until after 10days and numerous calls to find our "where" our stuff was. The owner of World Wide Transfer called and yelled at us for calling Penske (rental truck they used) with the truck number to try to locate our stuff when no one returned our calls. He said, "I do not have to deliver your stuff for 30 days."
Our furniture was somewhere up north while we were waiting in Flordia. When it arrived it had been moved off the original Penske truck onto another. THis truck had a "paper sign on the driver's door that said World Wide Transfer, WItchita, KS." The original had Missiouri tags and different truck number. So our items were damaged when moved fromone truck to another. Queen poster bed headboard cracked, furniture scratched, mattress was BLACK and dirty. Nothing was covered. One item we covered ourselves was uncovered and scratched. Boxes were crushed. Floor lamp cracked. Items in boxes were broken and crushed.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Owner lives in Kissimmee, FL and hires men to drive Penske trucks that he rents to deliver furniture.
The TV MEDIA needs to do an investigation into moving companies who are milking people of money and damaging their furniture. Better Business Bureau I checked with gave them an "F." So why are they allowed to be in business?
