February 12, 2008 I hired World Wide Van Lines to move my household belongings from Carlisle, Pa to Knoxvile, Tn. I had conversations with Darryl Lawson who assured me my furniture was in the best hands. Right!

My moving date was set for March 4, 2008.

March 4, 2008 a penske truck shows up with two men. When they opened the back door to the truck, they had on someone esle's belongings. I said I don't think my furniture will fit on this truck. The driver said than we will get another truck. I made a call to operations where they set up and scheduled my move and told them what was going on. They assured me they would send another truck. I had to get going to my next job transfer, I left them and trusting them to my life belongings. Never dreaming what could happen.

They promised my things would be delivered the next day March 5, 2008.

March 5, 2008 came and still no furniture. Couldn't even contact anyone from World Wide Van Lines to talk too. They would hang up on me, put me on hold, or say a supervisor will call you right back. For 4 days this happened. I didn't know what happened to my life belongings.

On Saturday March 8th, 2008 I get a call from the driver. Your furniture will be delivered this morning. World Wide Van Lines truck gets there and half my furniture is not on the truck. The driver said the furniture would not fit so we put 1/2 you belongings in storage back in Carlisle, Pa. The furniture they did bring to me was soiled, chipped and wripped. My furniture was brand new when they left Carlisle, Pa. My new box spring and mattress I didn't even know was mine it was so dirty. They wrapped nothing like they said they would in my conversation with Darryle Lawson. Chester Hall was the driver and I asked him how this could happen. He said just make a claim. I called my attorney to see if I had to pay them and he said yes you do.

Well now I am out money and my things a ruined. The driver handed me a business card with a storage warehouse was holding the rest of my things. Things were missing and damaged. I tried calling the agent from World Wide Van Lines which the driver had given me. No answer. Called Darryle Lawson got his voice mail. Tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with someone that could help me. [email protected] doesn't even get back to me.

Finially a man from my company threatens these people they have stolen goods. they still didn't care about my furniture. Finially we just wanted a signed release for my furniture. It took them 15 minutes to fax that to me. My company scheduled a uhual and I went up to Carlisle, Pa to get the rest of my belongings. Things are still missing. To top it all off the hard feeling between me and my company got so bad I lost my job over this move. So here today I sit with furniture all busted up, chipped, torn, etc. and no job.

If anyone reads this and you are moving please get all the information you can on the company moving you. And call pretending your a disatified customer and see how they handle it. I will never let another moving company move me. Penske and me can move accross country just fine.

I am shorting this story alot more happened but didn't want to take up more writing space.

I was lied to from the start by "Steve" about several things that had to do with my move.  I found out about these lies and contacted the "GM" Darryl about his employee and was told he would investigate the issue and call me back, I gave him 4 days to check out the info. I gave him, he said he didn't get to it and when I suggested to him to conference a call with me and this Steve so that we may get to the bottom of this, he said he doesn't run his business that way and he would have Steve contact me.  I asked, " you don't like to know about the things your employees are telling people to bait and switch them?" then I said to him, "you must condone this behavior."  He again told me he doesn't run his business that way and if I had a problem I was supposed to bring it up with the person that did the lieing.  I was lied to to get me to sign a contract and get my money.

Darryl writes he runs an Honorable Company, He has no idea what that means, and I will be seeking council about the "bait and switch" that was obviously done to me.

Darryl is untrustworthy and his employees follow suit, World Wide Van Lines is a joke and so is their General Manager.  Not one person has contacted me yet, it's been 2.5 weeks, cowards !!!!
