On May 3rd I received in the postal mail a court paper signed by David T Zalewski, P51973 stating that I failed to appear in court. I did not recieve any notice to appear in court previous to this paper. I called the phone # given by them to let them know I had no idea I was to be in court, they did not believe me. I called the courthouse, they replied that the Plaintiff could not contact me to serve papers, so they placed the papers in my doorjamb. I looked in all 3 doors of my home and no papers from them. They also claim they used certified mail which was denied, also untrue. I presently work 4 days a week, 1 of those days on Saturday, if I was not home they could have served me papers at work. I am upset that these people (lawyers?) are not being honest about something as simple as delivering important paperwork which should be served in person to. The issue is a small claims matter, which I am also investigating their ability to collect from me. I HAVE HAD FALSE THREATS FOR PAYMENT IN THE PAST, AND NEED TO KNOW IF THESE ARE COMPETANT, REAL LAWYERS. Worldwide Assest Purchasing File No. 200607874 David T. Zalewski P51973 J. I know better than to give them any information. I am short of convinced this is fraud.
I have already made reports at BBB and FTC.
