Decided to give Wow! a call one day thinking it would save me some money. needed to cut some corners so i called them on March of 2012 they came out pretty fast and installed their equipment. wasn't too happy with it all from the get go cause they didn't offer HD service for free, it would be an additional cost but i thought if you wanna cut corners you need to sacrifice a little too. so i did. what a mistake i made. their on demand is a piece of s**t first off. none of their movies are free - oh but their cartoons are. like i give 2 shits about cartoons. so here we go, no HD channels, no movie channels, slowest internet on the market and no phone service. so it came out to be 91.24 in total which to me didn't seem like it was worth it all. i felt like i was over paying for bad quality. but you know how the saying goes "you get what you pay for". they came out pretty quick - the same day actually - to dig up their cable line. later on when spring was coming and the weather was changing i noticed that my lawn from the point of the receiver boxes up to my house which is a good 20 feet, started splitting in half. to make a long story short , my lawn was and still is visibly damaged from when they dug their cable line and they didn't dig it along the fence either. they dug it pretty much in the middle of the lawn.  i trip over this area whenever i mow the grass now. i will need to buy dirt and grass seeds next spring.

so anyways i decided i didn't much like this cable service - no movie channels and virtually nothing on demand. with Wow! having the discovery channel is a luxury. that's pretty pathetic when they're promising you the world when you call in for services. like i said - you get what you pay for. i called comcast to come back out and re-do it all. i should have never left comcast to begin with. i wanna also mention that the Wow! cable was down for a whole day - i called to inquire. they promise you the best customer service but they never have any answers for you. i payed for cable that entire day and never got it. oh but i still had my dial up speed internet though. that didn't go down.

so comcast came out and removed all off Wow!'s gear and i called wow that same day to stop billing. i asked them to schedule someone to come out and pick up their equipment in 10 days which for the life of me i don't understand why it would take 10 days to drive 2 miles to my house. they never came even though the automated service called me to confirm this appointment twice. i called the next day and the lady on the phone told me to leave it on the front porch and they would come out and pick it up by 8pm. 8pm came and 8pm went - nothing. i called the next day and they told me there was never a scheduled pick up made and offered to send someone out on the 24th. i stopped her in mid sentence and asked her where to drop the s**t off instead. so i went and drove 2 miles down the rode to drop it off and the receptionist printed up a summery of my account which showed a balance of 57 cents. i asked the lady why do i still owe 57 cents? she told me not to worry about it and to call the number on the invoice to dismiss the charges. so i get home and i call and after speaking to the great customer service on the phone she finally explained to me that the 57 cents is being charged for half a day of service on the day that i called to stop billing. I said Wow! wow definitely knows how to make you say Wow! but they fail to mention the next part of the sentence: Wow! what a piece of s**t quality that goes perfectly with piece of s**t customer service. Never again. ever.
