I had no idea who or where this company is until I received a credit card bill with charges to them on it. When I attempted too call the 800# listed on the credit card bill< I found that the 800 # had been disconnected and was unable to contact anyone form this company. When I attempted to axcess them on the internet, I got a message that their web address could not be found. Further searching led to this site. I was charged a total of $9.95 on two seperate charges to my credit card. I have never heard of this company but feel that it may have been one of those pop up adds that constantly come up on the internet screen or one of the spam emails that you constantly get. They may have gotten my email address when I attempted to unsubscribe to their site. If anyone has any further info on this company will you please contact me with the details so that I can dispute the charges through my credit card company.

While we always respect a customer's interpretation of events, the scenario described in David's complaint is not one that, in practical fact, could have occurred in connection with any of our web-based services. Our customer service department is a very active 24/7 operation, and David can always reach us directly at 1-800-IFRIEND (judging by the incorrect telephone number listed within David's complaint it appears that he may have mistakenly misdialed our number). Further, we are also not sure as to why he was not able to reach our web site, as www.ifriends.net has enjoyed continuous and uninterrupted service since 1995. In addition, we cannot, and will not, bill any credit card unless an authorized cardholder with extensive knowledge of the credit and billing information first registers an account with our service. All charges incurred by any viewer on our service are clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance -- including use of a prominent icon and multiple clickthroughs in any instance in which a customer will incur charges. No customer could possibly incur thousands in charges on our service without advance disclosure of such charges and numerous multiple click-throughs by the customer to indicate their affirmative consent (and acknowledgment of their consent) to such charges. Since becoming aware of the above RipOffReport complaint, we have been in contact with David via email and matter has been resolved to his satisfaction.
