STOCK SCAMMER
PUBLIC COMPANY BEWARE
There is a group of Stock Fraudster operating out of Vancouver Canada that are preying on public companies and shareholders through out the US. They operate via the website
www.pennystockhot.info and purported ring leader is Edward (Ted) Strickland. I am sure this is a fake name.
There "Modus Operandi" goes as follows.
Ted Strickland the head of
www.pennystockhot.info sends out an Email to a public company claiming that thousands of there subscribers have shown an interest in the company. They claim to use a propriety software screening program to identify these interested shareholders. Once a company or its representative bites they send a proposal offering half of the funds paid up front and the remainder ten days after the campaign ends. The
www.pennystockhotinfo.com website looks professional and places the logo several successful public companies on the front page. They claim that 3 rd parties, such as IR firms or adveritising agencies have paid them to help promote these companies which is a complete lie.
When the public company asks for a reference Mr. Strickland will give you a phone number that is allegedly the private cell phone of the CEO of one of its client companies. The "CEO" will tell you that
www.pennystockhot.info did a great job and helped the company raise millions. This person is a fraud, he or she is part of the fraud ring and is not associated with any public company.
Once the set up is complete Mr. Strickland provides you with his wire instructions to a company known as Kingsley Stafford Holdings Corp. to a bank in British Columbia (Maple Ridge, Vancouver, Canada).
Once you send the wire they disapear, all the numbers are shut down and you never hear from them again.
