My husband and I have been looking at the Canon g15 for a while now and found it at a great price at www.thedigitalpros.com. It was obviously a "too good to be true" situation. I placed the order online and a few days later, I received three emails, asking me to call and confirm my order. I called and was on hold for about 10 minutes when someone barked "What's your order number?!?!" I gave them the order number and was put on hold again. Someone else came back on after a few minutes and asked the same question. Again, put on hold. Then, I spoke to someone that was a bit nicer (at first). He told me my order was missing the 3 digit security code and I just needed to give him that information to finish processing. I thought that was odd, but gave him the number. He then went on to say that I didn't order a battery and would I like to order the 4 hour or 6 hour. I said I thought it came with one and he argued with me that Canon stopped including batteries a long time ago. I knew that batteries came with the camera when you ordered elsewhere, but I didn't argue with him. I just said I would get the battery somewhere else. He started getting combatative and asked where I would find a battery at a better price. I told him that I wasn't going to tell him. He YELLED at me and said that he was cancelling my order because I was being rude. I couldn't believe it and asked if he was serious. He was d**n serious and hung up on me.
I will be watching my credit card statement closely and will be sure and dispute any charges.
