I had a high school student come to my door asking me to help send him to Europe for the summer. I thought well a simple little donation to the boy and we will be on our way. Yea, right!! As he went on he began to tell me that he had magazine subscriptions for me to choose from, I then told him that I did not want any magazines, that I had enough coming to my mailbox. He kept on and on how when he got back he would show me pictures of his trip and his mom was making wine baskets for everyone that helped him out. Now, mind you, I have two children ages 2 and a special needs 7 year old hanging on me ready to eat dinner, so to get him out of my house I bought two subscriptions total being $91.00.
I have not to this day recieved any magazines or refund from these people. I have not been able to get a real person on the phone when I call. I am really wanting to fight back against these people but not sure how to do that or if I can. I have excepted that the money is gone due to my own stupidity, but it will not happen again!!
Please don't be a victim like me!!
