Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We hired Xtreme Movers to move our household from New York to Oregon.  On July 7th they packed and loaded our property without telling us that it will be taken to their New Jersey facility then unloaded in their storage.  We were promised that it will be delivered on July 15th but no later than several days after while the truck is enroute.  After the 15th they made several false promises that they'll load the truck and send it out.  However on the 22nd of July they've admitted the truck was still not loaded with our property and the truck was not scheduled to deliver our property now being held hostage.  It's now apparent given their lack of credibility they intend to hold on to our property for an indefinite period of time while their service is already 2/3 paid for.  When I asked to be connected for a supervisor or manager they refused to connect me.  We are stranded without our home furnishing.

I'm the original poster / owner of the complaint on this page.  I've requested the website admin to delete this complaint but according to their policy it was denied but they are permitting me to update this thread with relevant information and reason for closing this issue in good standing with Xtreme Movers.

The original problem stemmed from misccomunication between the dispatcher and the truck delivery which was already on the road delivering our property.  Since our property was loaded and delivered enroute from the east coast to west coast there were no violations of contract nor any breach of good faith.  I'm in full contact and communication with the management who has been very helpful.

Therefore, since I cannot delete this complaint I ask anyone considering Xtreme Movers service to give them an unprejudiced, positive consideration.  Bottom line, I would use their service again.

Thank You, Peter Landy

First the correction.  Yes I was wrong about the pick up date.  It was two days earlier than stated but the delivery two days further delayed.

You fill your rebuttal with irrelveant facts as per size of truck, ect, ect.  The fact is that I was not informed / unaware our property will be returned and umloaded at your warehouse.

The fact is that you werer supposed to have our belongings enroute delivering our paid for service belongings to attempt keeping your promise of earliest arrrival of July 15th but you didn't.  You did no such thing.

The fact is that you informed me last week the truck was being loaded and sent out on Friday.  But you didn't.

The fact I called on the 22nd and your dispatcher informed the truck was not yet loaded nor on the road.

The fact is that I requested your dispatcher to connect me to the supervisor or management but the dispatcher said nobody was available.

The fact is she denied availability of management after telling she just spoke with them about shipping schedule.

The fact is she said management will call me back - they never did.  But you had the time to make this rebuttal instead of calling me.

I stand by my complaint as the truth and accurate.

In response to the complaint filed by Peter:

The Customers items were picked up on July 5, 2014 not July 7 ,as stated by Peter, this is the first of many false sttememnts made by the customer.

All customers are informed that on the day of pick-up the items will be picked up in a 24 or 26 foot truck and delivery will take place in a 53’ tractor trailer. The items are brought back to our warehouse and loaded onto a trailer based upon the customers first available date of delivery.

Delivery dates are NOT guaranteed, the customers first available date of delivery is July 15, 2014, however based upon the terms and conditions to the contract signed and dated by the customer it clearly states that we have up to 21 business days or 30 days to deliver the items to the customer.

The customer’s items left our warehouse on July 21, 2014 and are on their way to Oregon to be delivered. We are not holding any items hostage nor do we intend to hold the customers items for an indefinite time.

Our trailers do drive cross country and we are unable to control road conditions, accidents, traffic, highway work etc.

We do not like to give an update to the customer until the items are loaded and we are able to give the customer a driver’s name and phone number. We have been trying to contact the customer to update him with the drivers information and we have not been able to speak with him as the phone calls are have not been unanswered.

Our managers are available to speak with customers at all times.  The customer has never been turned down or denied to speak with a manager.

We have a copy of the signed contract and is available upon request.

We are requesting that this slanderous complaint be removed as we are well within the terms and conditions of the contract.
