The man I have been speaking to for several months goes by the name of Jason Jason . He says he lives in China and he has a great looking site that from all appearance is ligitimate, however this is just a cover up to get to the customers.
After being assured that he was a wholesaler and would drop shipcomputers, phones, and video game systems I listed many of his products in my online store and on Ebay. Sale were slow this Christmas season, not really starting until just a few weeks before Christmas. I started placing orders for the customers on Dec-11.
I had 2 orders which i had sent to the man. I did wonder why at the first that I was not getting confirmation but figured it was just due to the busy time of the season. Then after a few I did contact him again and his message was I need to make sure I paid for the games before we proceeded to the next step.. His site says they take Paypal but once you place the orders, he then tells you that they are having problems with their paypal account and will now only accept Western Union. After spatting with him over this payment method and realizing there was too much time being lost while I was argueing with him, I decided to go ahead and make the WU payment and then remove the items from my store and Ebay.

Yes, i got the two order details by your email. No worry about that time, we do it by DHL OR EMS. Usually cost about 5 days. I promise your customer can get them before the Holiday.
But we should deal with the payment method first, coz the Paypal account is stopped recently, can you choose Western Union or Money Gram?
You can pay our WU account online by your credit card. The total after my discount is : 350 USD. I cut some for your bank charge. Hope we can do long term business.

I did go to WU and used my Paypal debit card. I am now being told that I might not be refunded since I purhased a service and not actually the products by using Western Union.
C&P of this statement to him.
"Ok I will do these orders then remove the items from my stores.
I was so looking forward to doing business with you since you did advertise you took Paypal. I also understand it does not take much to get on the bad side of Paypal.
Is this going to take one or two payments through Western Union?
Please send me an invoice/invoices..I need to know how much to send."
HE did send me invoices for the first orders.
While I was making the WU payment I was selling more of the Playstation 3 Consoles. It was at this point I decided to go ahead and work with the man using WU.. this was my 1st BIG mistake.
After placing orders with him and waiting days for tracking information, I had not receiving anything, I did contact him again and told him I need the confirmation tracking numbers. He sent me EMS tracking numbers for each customer. I then posted these so the customers could track their orders.
After a few days I noticed none of the tracking number found or they were not working. Email contact with this man assured me that tracking was delayed to bad weather, he was busy etc.. but he would check into this to see what happened.
Some of the numbers did work but they were going to the wrong locations so I had to contact him again.
Meanwhile I continued to sell the consoles and used WU to send the payments to him.
Now Christmas had passed and 3 of the customers we without their childrens gifts.
Again days passed and no contact from him on the tracking on the orders I had sent to him.
After contacting him again and being put off, I decided that this entire situation was abnormal.
I was however busy and figured that he was doing the same thing I was, "just doing whatever trying to stay on top of things."
I then came up with 6 orders that I had not paid for through WU. I had not heard back for a few days and told him I would send payment for the other orders once I received working tracking numbers.
He is good at what he does.. He contacted me explaining that DHL cost more.. I did know this and I sent him an additions $18.00 per order to go with DHL..
He then presented me with DHL copies of shippments. Well DUH! I went ahead and sent him payments for the orders through WU. ):
I was watching these very closely and after 3 days nothing was showing on the orders I had just given him .
Then customers were contacting me, extremely fed up as I am sure anyone can understand.
Now I had 6 more orders and with all the tracking problems I decided no way would I send anything else through him until I saw some positive results.
Any means of contact at this point just disappeared.
I sent an email to DHL asking about the slips I was given copies of as proof of shipping.
I have not heard back but extensive seaching about DHL shipping turned up bogus DHL slips.. Yes they were the same as the ones I had.
Now regarding his website.
This man is a genuis. Such a shame that he has selected to use it to rip people off.
On his home page the site is great.. He even post tracking numbers, but with hindsite, in checking into these show that these do not work.
They can't be found in the EMS system.
He has a return policy, an about us page, sign in/register, numerous ways to contact him, etc. It is a great looking site and it would fool anyone looking for a bargain.
If you click on his "partner sites" it only takes you to his home page.
His prices are low but not "too good to be true".
The live chat he has, never shows anyone is on so you can talk with them. "Leave a Message"
This site looks and feels 100% leigimate
At first contact is good then tapers off.
He has reviews that appear to be real, it shows all accepted credit cards and payment methods but like I said it ends up he only accepts Western Union.
Exclusively At Here: shows several options, click on them and they take you to the same Iphone page.
I am not sure if this man actually ships any of the orders or if he ships a few of them. All I can say is DON'T fall for anything he says regardless of how badly you want his products. This is how he catch you. He makes you feel that he is trying to help you when all the time he is working on how he can rip you off.
Absolute best think I can suggest to anyone is to RUN as fast as you can in the other direction.. I have lost over $3000. sales to this man and may never get one cent back.
Being retired and living on Social Security you can only imagine what a financial burden this has caused. It will more than likely put an end to the only way we have of adding to our income, just to try to make ends meet.
I have kept all correspondence betweet us, and since I used my debit card I have a copy of all the WU tranactions. I have the DHL forms he emailed to me.
I have reported this to the IC3. gov which I was told was a branch of the FBI. I am now going to post this to all scams report sites I can find, contact Google, Contact Apple and any where else I can think of. I will do everything I can to try to help stop scams on the internet. Please do the same, since this is the only way we can fight back. I would rather be embarrassed having been so gullible than let this go unreported.
