I purchased a top of the line warranty through AA Autowarranty which sold the warranty to Consumer Direct Warranty Services. My car broke down on February 18, 2010. My car was towed to Roseville Volkswagon to have it checked. It was determined that the water pump had failed. Roseville sent in a request for a authorization stating the water pump had failed. The response back from the claims department stated it was not covered because it was "worn and leaking" not broken. However this is NOT what was put on the claim. It was BROKEN and in pieces. I also had just had the radiator flushed 2 months ago and I only have 66,000, so it is not our of neglect and not taking care of my car.
The other issue and concern I have is NO ONE will help me. I cannot get AA AutoWarranty to assist me and when I requested to be transferred to another warranty service that was reputable, they refused, stating I bought the policy and I can cancel at any time but the $950.00 I already have paid would be lost, even though they are the company that sold my the policy.
Consumer Direct Warranty Service there is no way in contacting them!!!!!! Everything is done by email or fax and they do not answer the phone when you call. They also say they have 24 hours to authorize a claim. This is very frustrating because no one responds and then you have no car to use. So you cannot even get a rental car until a claim is authorized. Which mine was not!

AA Autowarranty sold you the worthless CDWS Product warranty and they know their hands are dirty. AA Auto is 100% responsible for all your damages.
