1. Installation of Solar Arrays in incorrect and did not sign off on plan (would never sign my name "Dan" - Forgery 2. Used my income (wife was unemployed at the time) and therefore committed fraud while I was overseas. 3. Coerced my wife to sign and stated all documents would be sent for my review and signature. This never took place and when I saw the placement of the panels, I began dealing with the issues which they ignored for some time. 4. They asked to do a billing review because they could see a problem yet never completed it. 5. Installed a refurbished Nest Thermostat and contend it was new. I spoke to Google and confirmed it is refurbished. 6. Loan documentation fraud. Loan was to be completed under myself and my wife but since I was overseas they had her sign everything, removing me, the income producer of the family. Then they switched the type of contract, which they said they would send to me but to me for my review and signature, prior to installation but did not. The sign off ADT Solar of "Dan" on the picture attached is not me. Also, the Tree in the backyard does not overhang our home and is place south so would have no impact om energy production. 7. The company has worked very hard to get around each claim I have made, so much so that I had to call the bank, work with them, and restructure the entire deal, proving what we were promised and didn't receive. Keybank then removed them from their financing program because they were having other issues with them as well, having several complaints.

ADT's very poor Bill Review (where is the proof of what was reviewed for instance?  Also they state theey reviewed the previous 13 months, which confuses me, since they only asked for 4 months of our billing statements from reliance?  Did ADT sign into my Reliance account without my authorization?  In that case this would be additional, and mounted fraud because my information with Reliance is private!  This opens up a whole new avenue of potential fraud which is related to other issues that have affected myself and my family.  This compnay is haphazzard at best!

  • System received PTO 8/22/2018
  • System is 4 years old
  • Production: PPG is for 16,915 kwh with a 1% degradation per year. Your system must meet 95% of this.
  • Recent PPG results are as follows:

        8/23/2021-8/22/2022 system produced 8,066 kwh

  • Trees notated on design to be trimmed or removed  
  • Solar plan IS evident. kWh are billed at .0872 per kWh and credited at .0872 per kWh
  • Total consumption for 2022 increased in comparison to previous years. Consumption results are as follows:

2019= 23,400 kWh

2020= 20,600 kWh

2021= 18,700 kWh

2022= 25,900 kWh

  • No CT issues determined during review

RESOLUTION:

  • Bills are increased due to an increase in consumption. System has not met production due to shading on panels

This is where we are: 1.  Panels need to be added at ADT expense since I pointed out the design was poor and would be blocked by the next-door neighbor prior to installation.  We did not sign off on this and this IS the problem, not the tree whatsoever!  I did a light analysis of my own to see where the light hit the roof least and it was at the borrow two rows of panels on Array 2, and the bottom panels on Array 1 that are also blocked by the next-door neighbors' home until about 10-11 AM, depending upon the time of years. The tree is south of our home and is trimmed 2x a year, so it has no effect at all because it's shade doesn't fall on our home AT ALL! 2.  We are using more electricity since I cannot regulate the Nest.  If I forget to set it up or down, it stays as it is until reset.  To say we are using more electricity when our kids don't live at home in 2022-2023 is the fault of the primary AC/Heat zone because my wife and I live downstairs, and the upstairs AC/Heat rarely comes on. ADT caused a mess by not installing a new Nest and we have been paying for their ineptitude, 3.  We have intermittent monitoring at best because of where ADT placed our gateways.  They are too far apart (poor installation) and/or they have broken 3 times needed replacement that took 6-8 weeks to replace each time.  ADT's gateways are Junk and the areas ADT sets them up are poor at best.   4.  You asked for our power bills in August.  I supplied you 4 and now you say you have reviewed 13 months.  How is  that possible?  Did ADT hack into my system or into my Reliance energy account?  If so, that's more fraud and ADT is to be held accountable.  How in the world does it take from 8/22 to 3/23 to produce an email "bill review" like the following?  What did that take 30 mins to review and type out combined?  This is laziness and this is how Sarah has acted all along.  She also did not get other departments involved when I asked, like installation, legal, etc.  Instead she acted as if the "world started and ended with her''.  Well now it does because she is being called into the suit to demonstrate her ineptitude and lack of diligence.  Sloppy work shows up eventually and what you produced is very sloppy indeed!   5.  Enphase has reviewed our case, and ADT's installation, stating that all of our concerns are correct.  ADT did a bad job and now, with 5 years of torment, ADT will be held accountable for their actions.  There are hundreds of recent complaints against ADT, so many that a lawyer looked into it.  He then called me to find out if my system is with ADT and enphase and I confirmed.  He then pointed me to the BBB and several other sites where people are complaining about the same as I am.  ADT did a terrible job, they set up all of my panels on the east side of our home, causing decreased production in all areas but the top sets of panels. 6.  The financial transaction is fraudulent.  ADT was paid but they did not follow proper lending practices.  Since I was out of town when ADT decided to install, they stated to myself and my wife, who had to come home to let them in, that I would be able to review all financial documentation, ask questions as needed, and then sign all documents via Docusign.  This never took place.  I didn't review any documents, the terms were dratically changed and I would have denied the purchase, they used my income to qualify my wife by herself (blatant fraud), and the payment on the unit ended up being $700+/mo.  Wait a minute here.  I was only paying under $400/mo for electricty of average, why would anyone in their right mind purchase equipment that rases their aver cost by more that $300 and still have a engery bill of $200-300/mo?  The answer is they would not.  The salesperson and management wanted their commission, became greedy, and coerced my wife into signing the docs, without the review or signature of myself, after they had "completed" the sintallation.  I am sorry but any finan cial institution should remove ADT's ability to offer financing what-so-ever due to this obvious fraud.  Now they also need to exponge the credit record of my wife, since the loan provided is moot one several legal and regulatory fronts.  BAD business, loses there right to do business!   ADT is to rectify this all, and we are moving ahead in our suit and class action case because, as the attorney said, "You have the perfect documentation that is needed to hold ADT accountable for yourself and several others that have been wronged.  Your time is up ADT and enphase is in line as well since you are their vendor.  You have to know what you're doing to do your job and it's obvious ADT does not understand where the sun rises or sets in Texas.  Now you will with the pain you have caused me, my family, and 100's, if not 1000's of others.  ADT and enphase should be embarrassed and I have now spoken to Channel 2 that wants to do a complete story from this so that others, who have solar energy, get the justice from the installation company and distributor that sold the units.  ADT, and enphase are frauds, forgers, and very poor at what they do.  Now everyone is going to hear all about it!

I have been in contact with your people for over 4 years.  The only things you have ever resolved are the gateways but we are now on the 4th exchange of these items wheich each time takes your team 6-8 weeks to come out and re-install.  All other items have been discussed and no resolution has been found, only employees "passing the buck", losing documentation, etc.  You need to have your legal and compliance review the application that was submitted and how the finance docs were signed, only by mt wife using my income without her knowing, the terms changed dramatically, and there is a forgergery of my signature that only shows "Dan".  All of these items are fraudulent and since ADT has not remedied system issues, your compnay acted ins a fraudulent manner on several items (i.e. finance docs, signoff ob design, etc.) we have no other recourse than to file suit on all issues. This all needs to be addressed since it has also effected my wife's credit.  The teams of the loan are unacceptable, and we will not pay for fraud caused by others, menaing ADT.
